Wouldn't have thought so as we've already received money for the sell-on fee of his transfer from saints to Liverpool, don't think you get like two sell-on clauses in one as far as I'm a aware

I've been assured that the sell-on fee portion of the contract was watertight.

We'll get a percentage of anything that Southampton make. Might be enough to put a new coat of paint on the front of the grotto.

If this transfer happens it will stick another thousand supporters on Phil Kites testimonial match.

Saints get a sell on fee with a deal between Liverpool and West brom?

But the contract signed when he joined Southampton will stipulate that we get a percentage of any profit made by the Saints.

Then I guess it depends firstly on what's in the contract with saints would they have put a sell-on clause in Lamberts transfer to Liverpool I would say probs not as they received £4M upfront and due to his age after leaving Liverpool wouldn't think it would really be worthwhile for saints to put in a clause at his age? If this is the case we wouldn't receive anything as saints aren't making any profit. Also with Sinclair as he was only 16 at the time he had his whole career ahead of him to start with whereas Rickie was coming into the twilight of his at 34? Now.

Like we need the money. They only water it away on shoddy contracts and sh** managers. If Lambert loves us that much he'll put his hand in his own pocket.

Not to mention the amount of wages he owes to the beetroot factory he used to work he, his love for them burns like fire, never stops talking about it.

It all went a bit wrong for Rickie - joining Liverpool as the pinnacle of his career at just the exact same time it all imploded for Liverpool, Rodgers and Gerrard. His value has plummeted, but he's not far off still being the player he was a year ago - for a short contract maybe, given he's 33. Very good signing for WBA imo.
