You obviously have not tried it recently.
The baguettes are as good as Subway, Greggs or Upper Crust.
The Cheese and Onion Pastie on Saturday looked abit like the contents of a baby nappy and tasted just as bad.... If that's the case, perhaps you need to try the healthy option.

I had a pulled pork roll and chips. Lovely. Diet gone for a burton then Hugo! Nah it was last season. I only had it because it was the most expensive thing on the menu and someone else was paying.

Let's not beat around the bush (don't go there @hugotheelder)...we could employ a decent events specialist to manage the 'experience' we all get at a home game. They'd be on a huge wage (possibly with the top end based on performance), so we've clearly decided not to do that. Pre-match, half time, food and drink is clearly below par...
...I have worked in nightclubs for the last 15 years...there have been loads of reports recently commenting on the demise of nightclubs....I still work in 15-20 across the country, and they have got the basics right and outlasted the local competition...
The reason I mention my experience... the ones that still exist and I still work in...they have got the basics right and outlasted the local competition... We fail on both those basics...if we get those basics right who cares about Bristol Sport....but that is the only way to grow the club...get the BASICS right...

There'll be minimal improvements until either we get bought-out or UWE is concluded.

There'll be minimal improvements until either we get bought-out or UWE is concluded. Neither outcome is helped by poor customer service/experience....decent leaders would i) already know this and ii) have fixed it long ago

I get the impression that attention to giving people a good off-field match day experience does not extend beyond hospitality.

I belive Robert Laurance the current head of catering is to retire this season. This would give the club the chance to bring in someone with dynamic ideas/motivation for improvements rather than just trudging around waiting for retirement.

Tenmer says the replacement won't have the relevant food hygiene qualifications.

I agree on any current improvements but would also ask if the current team can't organise a booze up in a brewery how are they going to organise facilities for a brand new stadium if it ever gets concluded? On Saturday's performance they will have a job getting people through the turnstiles in time to watch a game and spend money.....

When on holiday in Falmouth every shop sold great pasties, well worth the money too,not like our so called "Cornish" where you have to chuck away most of the pastry because it is brick hard! Wouldn't most of us be willing to pay a little bit extra for improved quality? PROPER Cornish pasties please, not the mass produced stuff.

In all fairness, most of us are unable to even get a hard pasty because of i) queues or ii) they're sold out... if you want a hand-made one, probably pick a gastro-pub nearby...

No £2.50 isn't that cheap for a pretty lousy so called pasty, but wouldn't you Hugo, rather pay £3.50 for a pasty that melts in your mouth?
