I was going to suggest bringing this up with one of the fans directors but then thought...What's the point? It happens every time we get a decent crowd. Seating areas were all but sold out come Friday so they could anticipate approximate attendance. I guess we'll just do what we always do. Moan about it and achieve F All. I'm actually amused that people think a new stadium would change the way things are done! A good workman can still perform with poor tools...... Every time? Altrincham 3000 more, no problems. FGR 2000 more, no problems. That was just our last two games. How do you know there were no problems? Is that based on nobody bring it up, or do you get a post match catering report? Altrincham? We played them ages ago! You do know that it is ok for people to complain and be disgruntled don't you? The service we get at the Mem is below par. There's only so much people can take and its not asking for much really. There are cheaper Saturday afternoons available with far better facilities.

Well it seems obvious that although we have our football league funding back, turnstile operators(amongst many other employees in all likelihood)have not been re-employed.What is the reward for them anyway,a match day ticket? Bloody ridiculous situation if we ended up letting people in for free for the sake of not wanting to fork out a couple of quid/free tickets. We had similar problems against Grimsby in the 1st game last season so f all has been done about it.

They don't run them but they are responsible for them. You must see that surely? Yes, but you can't put the blame on them after the first game. Have you ever been to a game/gig/anything similar where food has run out? Can everyone on here not admit this? Yes, but people are saying it's not the first time it's happened with the food.

I'm not entirely convinced BRFC have absolutely zero to do with the pasty huts since on Saturday it was one of the yellow jacket with ear radio stewards who asked the main woman at ours (West enc) what she was running low on and then announced to the queue that there were only 5 pasties left. If they're nothing at all to do with BRFC then why are groundstaff doing stock checks on them? Like I said, 'BRFC do not run the pasty huts' Are you sure? I was under the impression that we have a catering manager. I know the guy by sight and he certainly has a role in the outlets. He is the boss of those staff, I asked one of them towards the end of last year a simple question and she pointed me to him for the solution.

But it isn't once is it? You've had lots of examples on here of mess up after mess up! They couldn't even get the day right in the programme for the Birmingham game. It's endless. Sorry, but it's really getting to me now. Look at the poxy scoreboard fiasco. Any board or even no board is better than a broken one, month after month. I feel like buying an old cricket blackboard and standing there at the side of the pitch, hanging white numbers on it when the score changes. Jesus Christ, where have I posted anything a scoreboard? Where have I posted anything about a programme? As I posted earlier, don't put words into my posts, its not good, and it certainly isn't clever. You sound desperate. I agree with you about the turnstiles ffs. No YOU sound desperate. Your last point was that anyone can mess up once and now you try to maintain that by ignoring all the countless other examples put before you. Of course if you insist on looking only at the pasties that IS trivial, but you can't do that. It's the cumulative effect of all the problems that is the point, as you must surely realise. This is not about you, it's about BRFC.

Gashead 79,I have just e-mailed BSS. Have had back 2 replies. TW and Higgs are on their hols! Brian is messaging Ian Holtby and Boycie!! Watch this space!! But why does this need to be brought to the club's attention 2 days after the event? Surely they could see for themselves that the turnstiles and food hut's were all understaffed/understocked? Everything at Rovers is reactive rather than progressive. Let's be honest if it wasn't for club loyalty most of us would be thinking of taking our business elsewhere and, if we did, I doubt many would return. Given the poor facilities at the Mem you'd think a business would try a lot harder to keep its customers happy, we seem to do the opposite!

Rovers do run the huts. Managed by the catering manager and his people. All people serving on a match day are directly employed by the club. They clock in, then out. The pasty company pay towards maintenance of the huts, I am not sure about wages. But believe me Rovers are wholly responsible for the way they operate.

I'm going by what is posted on here, you said every time there is a big crowd there is problems, I mentioned our last two games there wasn't, as your so sure there was, prove it. A few links to show the problems. You like to stir it, go ahead our last two games (with bigger gates) prove there is always problems with big gates. Go on I dare you.

Pretty sure the pasty kiosks would come under the jurisdiction of the stadium manager, usually seen lording it with Boyce Bradshaw in the box
The problems started last season, the club does not prepare properly for crowds in excess of 7k
35 mins to buy a over cooked pasty and bottle of water, which may I add you cannot take into the ground but you can get inside .... Couldn't make it up

The club do not learn, plod on Rovers, plod on.

For those that don't know, you are allowed to enter the ground with 1 children's drinking bottle if you are accompanying a child.

Look at it like a pub, the tennant has his hands tied by the brewery and has to stock their products. It is still up to the tenant of the pub to stock it and attract customers.

I purchased a bottle of water and walked away with a bottle of water. However they were pouring cola into plastic cups, obviously cola bottles are more dangerous....
