We have been f**ked over with refereeing decisions the past week. Judging by that penalty last week we could have had several penalties today. Shocking refereeing performance today. How did ginger nuts not get a red card for exactly the same as what Clarke did? How did that player not get a booking where the ref played advantage? Lads did us proud and a typical cuntish away performance towards the end.
We'll still be up there come May.

Yep the ref had a nightmare, he did try to level things up after with more bad decisions but in our favor which just goes to show what a terrible ref he is. Should be struck off and demoted to the conference he'd fit in well there.

Well there's another ref heading for the conference. Good referees are anonymous and consistent - this fool was neither. He did miss a couple of incidents where we got a free kick that was no foul but apart from that he gave us nothing. Clear penalty when bodin was fouled, gave a yellow and red for 2 incidents the same when probably no card got either. At least twice missed or ignored them kicking the ball away after decisions given, took forever to start giving cards for their persistent and at times crude fouling I could go on the list is long! But we are still not sharp or predatory enough in the box - this should have been a game that we won despite an incompetent referee. Apart from a worldy from their number 4 they didn't impress much which makes losing even more frustrating. Still as dc says we go again next Saturday - a better referee and some sharper finishing is all we need.

Two decent sides that will finish in the top half for sure. We need to be more clinical though. We had three good efforts that if they'd been either side of the keeper would have been goals but went straight at him.

From the 16th till the 45th minute it really was 10vs12. At least the c*nt ref sorted himself out in the 2nd half (apart from the clear penalty near the end).

Interesting how there are mentions of us finishing in the top half. I don't know if we've got the goals in us? Plenty of crosses, good approach play, but if the strikers are snuffed out we need a goal threat from other areas. Lines, Sinclair, etc need to get some shots away.

We certainly seem to get to the penalty box and then go sideways a lot. When we play it in to our strikers they had their back to goal and we rarely had anyone going past them. We needed to shoot more from distance and try and get behind the opposition more. I don't necessarily think we need more strikers we just need to move it quicker and be more direct in the final third.

Good performance overall but gotta make possession count. Was it 2 shots on target? Probably each actually. Playing like that should beat weaker teams but only if we shoot

Some of them are sensible. The rest are blind.

"How can you agree with their sending off? Taylor should of been sent off for the same action. Awful refereeing"
"Difference was hand to elbow"
Yes Ollie clearly elbowed their player...

Our play is too slow and cautious. We don't support our attackers or give them good service.Because we play litterally with two up front with no support then they have to use all their energy dropping off and chasing four players around. We could also do with a tall physically strong targetman to compete with the opposition.

Made me laugh on the penalty turned down on bodin that the ref said he got the ball lol!! He was no where near it lol,a right cheat. Gas played well today, just need a striker and I think will be around top 7 easy.

No problem with Oxford re time wasting, standard tactics which you'll see every game(us included)from the team who are leading. The ref f*cked us over big time with getting the 2 massive massive calls wrong. There would be 4 or 5 sending offs per game if every genuine challenge like OC's and the ex teds are routinely given, neither challenge worth even a yellow for me and the ref was either an incompetent w**ker or just looking to make a name for himself.Augers well if they turn out to be one of the better teams as they definitely weren't better than us.Lack of a goal threat is a worry though but we did have the clearer chances on the day.
