Not one really bad one but not one amazing one either. He is Mr Consistently Half decent to me. 6 out of 10 most games. Yeah I agree. That's why I picked him. If the other 10 were as consistent as him we would have a very good side. Lockyer and Sinclair are more consistently better IMO.

Current Sinclair All time dick shesperd Really fantastic keeper. I saw the 3 defining moments of his Rovers career, the penalty save v Sheffield Utd in Watney, his awful injury v Tranmere and Eddie Loyden and his comeback match against City at Eastville when he had a nightmare. In todays's age he would have been destroyed on social media, then we all felt sorry even if it was against them. Great man and good keeper during happy times.

Incidentally, if the club as a whole gained 6 out of every ten points available then in the season we got relegated we'd have finished second. Six out of ten every week is promotion form...?

Was at the Muller Road end for the Tranmere match and the collision was sickening. And as for his comeback match he was a shade of the keeper he once was, and a sad and unfitting way to end his Rovers career. Some wonderful memories of him too, and remember chatting to him when he ran his sports shop up Filton way. Lovely to see his family at the Mem a couple of weeks back too, receiving the deserved Harry Bamford trophy on his behalf.

Current squad? Lee Brown. 200 games and not a bad one among them. Not one really bad one but not one amazing one either. He is Mr Consistently Half decent to me. 6 out of 10 most games. Something interesting that I think you'll both like that I came across while doing the Player Ratings threads. While Lee Brown does well in the season and ten-game averages (he's usually in the top third of players), the Chesham game was the first time this forum had named him as Man of the Match. I found that incredible for a player who has played almost all of the 60-odd games that the ratings cover. In fact 23 other players had been named MotM before him. Even this score was low and he won on account of the rest of the team giving a poor performance. An alternative argument would be that we don't appreciate him enough and posters get in the habit of giving him a 6 regardless because he sets a high standard to mark him against. Blissett got his MotM last season for unexpectedly playing a couple of accurate passes.

I seem to remember he was a very good artist as he used to do caricatures/drawings of other players and they appeared in the programme during his time at Rovers. A genuinely good guy who died much too young.
