Free transfer? Nice. Save the money for Gaffers. Or put in a cheeky bid for Williamson.

Love that. Also very honest from Darrell on the OS:
“I know his character and what he’s about on the football pitch. He’s a winner, and I love winners.”
Proper signing, just what we need for the rest of our battle AT THE TOP END OF L2.
Though Shrews played him in CM due to his 'legs being gone', I would imagine in a team like ours he could easily slot in on the LW and let Browner do all the running just like Monkhouse did. But make no mistake, Lawrence has played at a far higher level than Monkhouse ever did - this guy should have quality to burn.

Article on the OS states that he's taken a big drop in wages but that if we get promoted he automatically gets a one-year contract extension.

Excellent signing on a free. Wouldnt be surprised if lines or gosling make way though if we get our striker too

Not enough incentivised contracts and if his character is as good as DC says then he will be good to have around next the dressing room next season anyway.

Amazing that we could only sign journeymen with a lot less experience at the top level on much bigger wages under previous managers. Makes you wonder. His interview is encouraging too.. 'I think it's important with young lads coming through, that they know the values and the ins and outs of the game. If I get to know the young lads here I hope to help them out along the way.'

Great news.
Hopefully the first of 3 or 4 to put us in a position to really challenge, and love the inventive based contracts, personally think all contracts should be more like this, a flat basic wage with add ons and incentives for doing well.
Welcome Liam.

Obligatory YouTube videos... Most goals from pens and free kicks last season, but a couple of nice ones from open play... 0:36 0:16 Most amazingly though, in the second video somebody SCORES FROM ONE OF HIS CORNERS @ 0:28! I didn't even know you could score from corners Seems a player who likes to get forward, get involved with attacks which is always good.

He's lost his legs since his premiership days but has a great footballing brain. Great signing. Just need to get Gaffney now and I'll be happy.

I'll reserve my judgement until I've seen him play a couple of times.
Looks good on paper though.

Very happy with this.
Clearly a very talented player and seems like a great bloke from his interview.
Majority of Shrews fans not happy to be losing him - which is always a good sign IMO.
