Stories doing the rounds at present include MT going to Oxford, there's a whole thread about it, Hearts, or now even Barnsley.
Is this how we will fund the club yet again, by actively trying to sell our top scorer? Come now NH, surely you wouldn't allow that"............. Would you?
Wonder what DC's reaction will be if this is the case?

And even if they are, he only has a contract until end of season. If he wants to go elsewhere he's easily gonna force it. It would suck but I can't see where your reference to the court case comes from.

Think Tubbs would be a very natural replacement for Taylor if he does go and must say I wouldn't be heartbroken. Think the hype for him was very over the top. Decent enough of course with potential yeah, but nothing too devestating.

Take Matty out of the team and it's a big loss, even before you take into account his goals. I don't think for one minute that Tubbs would be an ideal replacement. Worrying times.

We would sell him for such a pittance though that if we kept him and went up it would be worth more than letting him go. No way he'd go for more than say £100K when there's only 6 months left on his contract. |
