Do you believe Higgs is beyond reproach? Do you believe there are any failings or mistakes that have been made by him during his time at the helm? If there is room for improvement in the way we are currently run how should posters raise that without being accused of bashing NH? No I don't, but I could see where this threw was going from post number 1. So you can't/won't answer?

Income.......wild guess plus wild guess etc etc.............out goings..........wild guess plus wild guess etc etc....= I see we are making a small loss. If TW gives us a crowd number that he says is a break even based on our expenses are you suggesting we should ignore that or that it's pure guesswork?

You know every cost for BRFC ? TW gave the crowd break even figures needed to cover costs. DC and NH told us the cut in budget. I don't suppose anyone knows the full ins and outs but it's not unreasonable to take the figures the club themselves have given and work a rough thumbnail amount in the way it was done? Exactly i just ignore newmarket gas' trolling. If we were budgeting to lose 25% and then cut by 60% its reasonable to assume you would not lose money unless there was a huge outlet. We had wembley and have paid a small amount for Gaffney. I know the figures because i bother to go to open meetings with the club where they reveal it. I have also spoken to Toni and Nick

Hugo, and nothing changes in that year ? no new players ? not one person goes out on loan ? TW figures are at best a guess also, nobody can be sure of no changes in a year.

So you can't/won't answer? I answered your question. I asked 3. You don't know if NH is beyond reproach. Fair enough. Neither do I. What about the other 2 questions?

Yes, costs change and while I believe DC has done well I do feel that NH let him go over budget last year. I agree that Toni guesses his figures.

Dinsdale, I think you should go check your figures........Employing someone on £50K will cost you a good bit more than £50K.

How much does it cost to employ one player on £50k per year ? depends on a lot of factors ie are there benefits like company car, life, health insurance, expences, company vehicle etc

The point is Higgs did not pay for Gaffney we did. The reason we could is that we cut more then we needed to meaning we had money left over. Thats not a dig just correcting a viewpoint tht this was somehow a generous or personal signing. Higgs did his job in arranginf a transfer and fair play for that.
As for staff wages they told us the cuts as a percentage and our crowds have been awesome. Fair play to the fans for their amazing loyalty as thats how / why we signed him.

To get back on topic, and fully accepting your points that budgets are subject to change, there must be something very different we are doing when we see clubs with considerably lower gates than us seemingly doing better. How can the club make better use of the big head start we get financially based on ticket sales?
