Is this a strange coincidence. Colin Sexton was appointed to the Board on 15th September. The new owners say they started talks in September. So the question is, did CS introduce them or is this a coincidence with the dates? Not that it makes any difference. If CS did introduce them, has he received a Finders Fee? Steve Hamer said a close friend had introduced him to BRFC & as he was then actively looking for a club for Mr Al-Qadi. That close friend almost certainly Colin! Didn't Wael or Hamer announce all the present Directors were leaving but had been given Vice President positions, if so, it would seem a bit odd a few days later to bring CS back as a Director? If CS put Hamer in contact with the club why didn't Hamer take on the Directors role rather than CS, you sense EW & CJ might of thought NH was out of his depth dealing with the Al-Qadi so got CS in to assist them all with their negotiations?

Ian Holtby does part of that job, would that mean he will be replaced? Not really he doesnt. That was BB. IH is the stadium and commercial manager. It would be a shame if he did leave. Ian is a lovely bloke, is Rovers through and through and has been touted by other clubs in the past to run their stadium. Touted to the The likes of Mangotsfield and Yate Town .....

Some appointments do need to be made soon, the workload would be a bit much on Hamer and an owner who wouldn't be here too much. CS would make sense given he joined the board around the time that discussions began between the two parties. Unfortunately, Toni Watola has been offered the position of CEO. Are you sure about that? From my understanding he has gone.

Twatola was there today. I saw him. Clearing his desk and tying up the many loose ends no doubt but he will be gone. Just like the rest of the cotton picking scoundrels.

I would imagine that is for continuity and having someone from the old guard for paperwork reasons. If he shows himself to be no good or not toeing the line then he will be gone within a few months, if that.

He's been showing himself as no good for years! Indeed, fall guy for any remaining skeletons that come out? Hence why he'll be off? W: Tony in our relegation season we were banking on crowds of 9,500 but were only averaging 6,500 T: That's correct? W: No wonder you've ran up a £10m debt, I assume you planned for relegation if it happened? T: No, should I have done that? W: It might have been a good idea!

www.brentfordfc.co.uk/news/article/taylor-wessing-brentford-stadium-legal-award-2130053.aspxInternational law firm Taylor Wessing has won the Property Team of the Year award at the British Legal Awards. Hosted by Legal Week, the British Legal Awards set out to recognise the important contribution that the legal business community makes not just to the UK economy, but also to the wider community. The judging panel was made up of senior members of the legal community, including several former law firm managing partners and general counsel. Taylor Wessing's submission was made around the work the firm has done for Brentford Football Club, securing planning permission for the club's new 20,000 seater stadium – the first new stadium to be built in London in ten years. The team's use of the Social Value Act – which had never before been used in a planning context – was used to demonstrate the contribution that the stadium would make to the local community.
