I hope that NH is having good nights sleep - everyone deserves that. Although much of his sleepless nights (if he had any) may of been his own fault - it has to be said that but for Trash and Sainsburys he might now be a hero? Dunno about that. If he had delivered the stadium then fair play but the fact that he ran the club like a Sunday league outfit for years and we were pretty much in free fall for most of his reign makes him our worst chairman in my life time in my book. Proper Gashead, but useless chairman. I'd have had very little confidence that the former board would have been able to take serious advantage of the new stadium had it have happened.

Unless he could have sold the club for a nice profit once it was built?

The only possible reason that the family would have purchased the Rovers is if they can expand it and turn a loss making entity into a profit making entity.
The only way that they are going to do that is if the new stadium takes place.
The fact that they purchased the club in the first place should be enough to put people's mind at rest

The fact that they purchased the club in the first place should be enough to put people's mind at rest I'm sure they'd love to turn a profit but I honestly believe that there's an element of football mad multi Billionaire wanting to enjoy owning and bringing on a club from low to high purely for the excitement and gratification of achieving that.

I don't know what it is about Hamer, I'm a good judge of character and something doesn't quite sit right about him for me. He reminds me of a politician. Says all the buzz words and diverts attention to where he wants it to go. I know they all do it to some degree. I just feel like he comes across a bit slippery. Something tells me he'll become a hate figure in a couple of seasons. I know this seems an odd thing to say as we're going through what seems to be a positive transition. I have my tin hat ready, so bring it on. I'm also a good judge of character and feel a bit similar to be honest. Reminds me a bit a bit of a politician too. I feel Wael comes across more genuine. Trust in your gut...
