He's looked off his normal level since he's come back from injury and I think it would benefit him in dropping down to the bench for Saturday and starting with Easter instead. Easter and Taylor's link up play always impresses me and despite not scoring very often he looks a classy player, particularly at Carlisle.
Also, Gaffney is great at running channels and putting defences under pressure. If he came on after 65/70 minutes against a tiring defence he would cause them all kinds of problems.

I would start Harrison, He has scored a couple of important goals for us this season and I think he deserves a chance to start in the first eleven. Keep gaffney on the bench and use him as a super sub later on in the game, his energy and pressure will shake the Yeovil defence especially after 70 minutes when they are tired.

I'm torn between Ellis and Easter but for me it's Easter as he and Taylor compliment each other more and seem on a similar wavelength.

Starting Ellis is too much of a risk for me. I would go with Easter out of the 2.

Horses for courses, stick with gaffers he scored twice against Yeovil earlier this season. They will not be looking forward to facing the Mattee and ginge double act.

If we drop Gaffney it has to be Ellis. Who else is gonna win a ball in the air?

Have you been to the last 7 or 8 games home and away? I rate Gaffney but he looks off the boil of late and to me he'd benefit from coming off the bench and being able to really get at a tiring defence. There's a lot of misplaced passes coming from him of late, one of which led to Newport's goal.

Said on Northampton Twitter he looks lively up front,he's strong and makes the defence makes mistakes and Matty has benefited from the space he makes for him

I'd give him a rest and start Harrison.

I can't believe the OP is seriously suggesting starting Easter over Gaffney, have they ever actually watched Easter start a game? I can see the argument in starting Harrison but this season he seems far more effective from the bench, than when he starts. Before Saturday's match DC seemed to be favouring McBurnie over Harrison but isn't this the second away game now he's cried off late though illness? At the end of the day DC suggests he knows when to rest players so we just have to trust his Judgement.

Easter hasn't started a game in a while but coming off the bench of late his involvement along with others has changed games such as Carlisle (I know we still lost but we're atrocious before he came on) and Northampton on the weekend. Some of the football we played at Carlisle was a joy to watch and he was involved in a lot of it.
