Hard to see Oxford and Stanley slipping up at home. IMO DC made a massive mistake with his team selection at Stevenage, lost the initiative, play-offs here we come, need to avoid Portsmouth, who have already played us off the park twice this season, win on penalties at Wembley. UTG

Not sure where the sense of entitlement is coming from our fans of late, acting like we should be in a higher league and calling Accy tinpot. If we deserved to be there we would be above there by now. Some of the comments on this forum is what you would expect on OTIB. Where do we get off acting all high and mighty. Good luck to Accy I say. I can't see anyone slipping up next week, we'll be in the playoffs where we deserve to be. Your only as good as the games you have won, not the money in your bank or the size of your fan base. I think you need to read in between the lines! After the last two seasons, I don't think anyone is genuinely acting Billy big bollocks. I'd suggest the posts arguing about Accrington's lack of entitlement are actually said in irony.

We can only play Pompey if we both make it to Wembley where anything could happen

We can still make automatic so how the hell can you say we just deserve the playoffs? Our boys have done fantastically well! If we win next week & Accrington don't, then we deserve auto and Accrington don't, ''otherwise what's the point in 46 games'' UTG!!

UTG It's not over yet , I honestly don't understand why you think the Stevenage game cost us , when we have not been able to beat Accrington this season ! How on earth can you put it down to that one game when we have lost countless others this season , surely losing at home to Stevenage was more of a bad result than a point away , you can't really make that call yet until the season finishes , that point at Stevenage could be the point that seals out automatic promotion !! Still all to play for UTG !!!

This bigging up of Portsmouth puzzles me. They beat us at home when we were clearly struggling to come to terms with with L2 ( like Northampton, Oxford & Accy). For the away game they simply had to get a result to answer pressure from fans. I don't see it'll automatically happen a third time.

I think the issue is we were 3rd going into the game but DC reverted to 5 at the back and recalled Gosling into midfield, when he hadn't even appeared in the 1st team for months, he also "rested" Bodin when he's probably scored more goals than any other div 2 player recently, so instead of going 2nd we dropped to 4th where we've remained since.

If we get to the final it'll be a different ball game but there's always the worry they've stuffed twice this season which no other Div 2 side, Accy's wins being just 1-0'ers

Impossible we could play as badly against them again. However wimbledon will be no pushovers.

Sorry, but if we end up in the play-offs we shouldn't fear anybody. We will finish above Portsmouth, Plymouth and Wombledin in the league table and we're in unbelievably good form at the moment.

Okay well how about we let DC do what DC does, which is do more on a lower budget than any manager we've had since we dropped to League 2 and the first manager in god knows how long who has achieved all expectations set at the start of the year rather than told us to lower them? Theres still a game left, and we can still go up whether it be automatically or via the playoffs. Some of you need to get a grip.

I actually dreamed about him last night and told him how fantastic it is that we have him and want to keep him. (Actually true, not making that up!). Still love you Darrell UTG
