I think the issue is we were 3rd going into the game but DC reverted to 5 at the back and recalled Gosling into midfield, when he hadn't even appeared in the 1st team for months, he also "rested" Bodin when he's probably scored more goals than any other div 2 player recently, so instead of going 2nd we dropped to 4th where we've remained since. You raise a good point topper but we don't know what goes on behind the scenes on the training ground.

It's a shame we had such a poor start to the season (6 home defeats) , the last 2/3rds have been brilliant. Strange because we didn't really get any new players in other than Gaffney.
Maybe it was both DC and the players learning to cope with a higher level than season before.

Oddly, yesterday's results have given me hope.
The playoffs seem less scary. We're on good form and believe over two legs we can beat Wimbledon. The other two teams have bottled matches. We can still do this.
Playoffs: no bother.

Wish it was Saturday already. The last few weeks it's been like a child counting down for Christmas...over and over again!
Early goal against the daggers and it'll instantly turn Oxford and Accy into mourges. Then, let the pressure commence...

It was the same last season, miles behind Barnet at the end of the year then best team in the league second half of the season. Whatever league we are in next season, this is something that needs to be looked at and rectified.

Although I would rather Rovers went up automatically I don't have a problem with Accrington,I enjoyed our trip up there (apart from the fact that most of the Rovers team gave up after 20 minutes). Proper supporters who had a talk and a laugh with us in the pub after the game, nothing plastic about supporters like them, theres not many of them but its not a huge place, they have followed their club through hard times,I applaud that loyalty. Dagenham was another place that I thought their supporters were good,it would be easy for them to support bigger clubs as there are plenty near by. Southport last season was another place that I felt that we were treated in a friendly way by supporters who deserve better days, they turn up when Liverpool and Everton are on their door step. Compare this to the Premiership, packed out with foreign tourists decked out in half and half scarves even at derby games ffs. I enjoyed last season in the Conference ( ok one season was enough)but I know that I wouldn't enjoy mixing with the plastic fans in the Premiership.

Pressures off us, let's enjoy Saturday, read on the plymuff site they reckon a 70k crowd at Wembley equates to a profit each of 700 k, might be able to get a better santas grotto this year! Football has twists and turns this ain't over by any stretch.

The way I see it, this could be their Mansfield moment. All they have to do is match us results wise. Remember how that turned out. All to play for and maybe it's our turn. Believe. UTG.

The fact Bodin appeared as a second half sub (and had our only worthwhile shot on target) indicates he was reasonably fit to have stated. Just feel DC get spooked by Glen Roeder's pre match interview and thought he'd out fox him with a changed line up.

Before he arrived Taylor was struggling, since he arrived he's been a different player.

I am not inclined to consider the play offs, let alone another Wembley final, but our Devonion frinds might need to be more realistic about potential income. Grimsby reported an income of only £53k after expenses from last year's play off final.

Not sure where the sense of entitlement is coming from our fans of late, acting like we should be in a higher league and calling Accy tinpot. If we deserved to be there we would be above there by now. Some of the comments on this forum is what you would expect on OTIB. Where do we get off acting all high and mighty. Good luck to Accy I say. I can't see anyone slipping up next week, we'll be in the playoffs where we deserve to be. Your only as good as the games you have won, not the money in your bank or the size of your fan base. Good luck to Accy!? You clearly don't want it like I want it mate. f**k ''Accy''! We can still make automatic so how the hell can you say we just deserve the playoffs? Our boys have done fantastically well! If we win next week & Accrington don't, then we deserve auto and Accrington don't, ''otherwise what's the point in 46 games'' UTG!! uuuummm, because if we win, Accy win and Oxford win next week, by my math we end up in the playoffs because we have less points than them you see, therefor we deserve to be in playoff's. That means they are automatically promoted and in that instance I say good luck to them. Not sure why you felt the need to have a 'my d1ck is bigger than your d1ck' competition over who wants it more.

Stevenage been on the up since Teddy got sacked. Think they will sneak a draw! I agree,Stevenage are on decent form.however Oxford have a very bad home record and they're up against wyscum, they owe us a favour and I think Saturday they'll finally pay us back If Wycombe couldn't manage a shot on target yesterday in their last home game expecting them to get a result at Oxford maybe expecting too much, although didn't Mansfield get hammered at home before they played us.

IF Accrington go up & we don't, I'll want them to get battered every game next season & go straight back down. I don't wish them good luck AT ALL, personally! UTG

And in the instance you stated, I would say good luck to them in the playoffs and we deserved to go up automatically. I have no rivalry with Accy if we both go up I wish em well so long as it doesn't effect our season. Your d1ck probably dwarfes mine but I can assure you my balls are bigger and hairyer.

Add in tv money for all 3 games and merch (which will surely be better than last year's shambles) and you'll be looking at 800k plus.

Both Stevenage and Wycombe are perfectly capable of grabbing a point. It's going to be interesting.
