Ian Holloway produced a team that played some fantastic football ,the Oldham athletic away game first half was awesome stuff (think it was Astafjevs debut ?) They kicked lumps out of him when they realised he was a class above them. In his own words Holloway said he was too close to rovers . I agree ,his passion overtook a level head that was needed. I don't think he will be back as manager Whilst he got several teams promoted ,plenty of his clubs got relegated after he left .Is that criticism or praise? Yes. Who knows ! Was it his tampering at the clubs that led to failures or was it he had them performing above their station ?

Holloway has promoted two teams to the Premier League. Whether he did it with money or someone else's team will not show in the history books. Teams he has left have not prospered afterwards, such as Blackpool, Millwall, Plymouth and of course ourselves. I'm not sure how Leicester have done. Must google that.
But his recent years have not been good at all. He seems to have lost his touch.
My heart says I'd love to see him back, and it would be an exciting ride,, but my head says it would be a disaster. He's peaked and I think a life behind the microphone is his future.

I hope DC stays but if he goes then Ollie would be my choice, i think he was too ambitious for the board we had back in the day and that was the real problem but now with the new board i think he could take us to the championship no problem. UTG !
