Whatever he has decided he should let the fans know getting a bit watered off with the waiting around has D C got someone lined up to replace him in case of a BR exit? Get over yourself!! He's come here on a free and scored bags of goals, given us as fans some amazing times, got tonnes of unwarranted stick and now you're begrudging him an extra week or two while he sorts out an option he feels is best for his career and/or his future. Chances are the club and DC have given him a deadline, he'd be mad not to explore all of his available opportunities before letting us know what his intentions are. Although if he knows that yategas78 is "getting a bit watered off" he'll surely make a decision today ...

Well either he's got offers on the table which he finds attractive or he hasn't, if the former then I assume he can tell SH he'll be off once he decides which offer to accept?

I've got my misgivings, but so far every call he has made so far about players signing has been on the money. I reckon Taylor has signed I really hope so mate Are you guys having a Dam laugh? He's a Twitter troll, an actual Twitter troll.... he has no sources. He's joking!

It's not Football Manager we're talking about here, it's this bloke's actual life. It's where he's going to live for the foreseeable future, it's how that's going to affect when and how he sees his family and friends, it's the cost of a new house, car and whatever else a change in lifestyle can bring. It's more than likely a more challenging role he's considering. It's the risk vs reward. Will he be a success. Does he want to risk flopping at a club like Villa (just an example) and sitting on the bench for the reward of a few extra quid or play it safe and stay at Rovers? There's so much to consider and likely he's had numerous offers, all of which need to be weighed up on their individual merits. Answer me this; do you genuinely believe he is dragging this out for as long as possible in order to hurt the club or fans for some reason? If not then I can't see one good argument for not respecting that he has a difficult decision to make and has earned the right to take as long as is necessary to make it.

Clearly we don't know whether MT's already told the club of his decision but if he hasn't then he's got to make one at some point. I assume he's known for a few months what offers he's likley to receive, so it's not a DC scenerio where Leeds have approached him out of the blue with an offer, although DC took less than a week to decide anyway!! MT must know now which way he's going to go.

I'd be pretty annoyed if we don't hear today or tomorrow (certainly this week) whether Matteeeeee is staying. IMO he's certainly had long enough to decide now and, if he isn't staying, we need to start looking ASAP to find a replacement.
You'd imagine he's been made offers well beyond what we've offered - if it's a question of moving to club A,B,C or D (but ultimately moving on nonetheless) you'd have hoped he'd have told us by now and that our search for a replacement could get underway officially.
Of course, for all we know, this has happened. Either way, it's starting to take the p*ss a bit now and we need to be very careful about losing him and missing out on a number of possible replacements because of the long time this has dragged on.
Surely we will know by the end of the week whether or not he's staying. If we haven't heard by Friday, I really hope the club has given him an ultimatum that he has until the end of the weekend, or else the contract is withdrawn. Risky, but if he hasn't signed by the end of this week, surely he isn't going to stay. And if he does move on, we've already lost circa 4 weeks of trying to bring in a replacement.
He's certainly had long enough now IMO.

His contract runs out on Friday, so no issues there.
I agree though, there are targets I'm sure DC has in mind. It'd be a shame if we missed out because of the lengthy decision process.

Yeah, as Messi has retired from international football, it would be a waste of time getting him, coz we'd still lose Lockyer and Harrison during international fixtures.

He maybe now waiting to see if he gets any better offers but surely he's made his mind up if he's staying or going by now, I just with ne sign of announcement today we'll now find out on, Thursday, deadline day.
