GOOD NEWS - The pies make a return from the Cheltenham match.
Thanks for the help BSS, people power still has a place at BRFC What a relief. I was ready to tear up my season ticket.

The person who orders pies is dead to me. They are everything that's wrong with catering.

The pies are just too messy to eat. They fall apart and there is a big H & S issue with the filling burning you hand. Surprised they were not banned years ago. H&S issue surely a common sense issue as if it's too hot let it cool down a bit

Sack the board, doing the right thing and all that.
That one man making all the decisions. Curse him

Whose decision was it in the first place?

Yes, the baguettes are very good.
There is a new menu of burgers and hotdogs, did not notice the prices.
Some supporters arrive at the ground, want to go straight in and buy a pie/pasty and tea/coffee/Bovril before taking their place. Some Gasheads travel a considerable distance to the ground and that is the only way they can get a snack before or during a game.
I make the point again. What difference, time wise, is selling a pie to selling a pasty. The only way you are going to shorten the queue is by having less customers = less revenue.
There shouldnt be. If anything the drinks probably take longer Which is why i wonder what the ratio of sales are If enough people turn up at the first game and are disappointed maybe it will change One for BSS and Ken.perhaps?Who?

The only answer is to sack all of the catering staff and move the Bristol Fryer to the MEM and get the Clarks Pies in!

Thanks for the help BSS, people power still has a place at BRFC I did hear the same thing, from BSS, it is all to do with the speed of serving, apparently some people 'dither' when buying, so maybe people should make a decision before they get there, or is it really some of the staff are useless and can't count, on many occasions, we have had to add up for them, get server's that are proactive and put a bit of effort in. I am a pie eater by the way!

Well done BSS, if he was the man wot dun it. But why didn't he post something on here or the other forum to say so? I know it's only piegate, but it would have been a welcome message and confirmation that he is still backing the fans. A quick message confirming he's sorted it would have been good. For him too.

How about advertising the prices before you get to the hut, if you aren't a regular customer you haven't a clue what's of offer until you get to the front of the queue and can see the prices listed at the back of the hut?

Our catering is shocking. I enjoyed better variety and quality food from pre season games at Twerton Park and Weston than at the Mem.
I can't anticipate this changing until we move grounds but expect a world of difference then.
