does anyone feel a little annoyed that q&a meetings are invite only....
personally I can't make it, but seems strange to me to make a public gathering exclusive....

"Wael, we all appreciate that negotiations about a new stadium are very sensitive, and news cannot be released until the time is right. Can you confirm that once the time is right, the supporters will be kept informed?"
"Yes"

I think it's been done this way as it's going to be part of Geoff Twentyman's Radio Bristol programme tomorrow, so it has to fit into a 60 minute timeslot. It's more of a BBC thing, not the usual Q&A.

I'm not bitter about it, but having grown up watching BBC question time I do believe q&a should be open and public and impromptu....

Was anyone lucky to get an invite to tomorrows Q & A? I'm guessing you didn't get one severncider based on your previous comments about who will be attending. Feel free to voice why it annoys you so much.

Just turn up and walk in. This is rovers ya know. Just mingle with the 130 "supporters" invited by R Bristol assuming they are not all Al-Q's family members etc! it seems odd to me we've not been allowed at least an even split of the people attending given that it's at the Mem not R Bristol studios. So what are some interesting questions for those attending? 1) What's the latest on talks with the UWE? 2) Is funding for the UWE now fully in place? 3) If talks go well when should work commence/finish? 4) Will the stadium be built to the original plans? 5) What's the latest on purchasing our own training ground? 6) How does the budget given to DC this season compare to other Div 1 clubs? 7) Could we survive in the Championship at the Mem if DC pulled off a third consecutive promotion 8) Are there any concerns about keeping such a large squad of players happy? 9) Has suggested in thepast work on the UWE car park must start this summer, does that remain the case? 10) Are there any plans to return to Sabadell next summer, or arrange a similar tour for players/fans? 11) What's is views on the latest EFL proposals to increase the FL to 100 clubs, possibly inc the two Scottish giants?

Answers: 1) Just dotting the i's and crossing the t's 2) The funding is in place and has been for some time whoops, wrong board of directors.
