Just turn up and walk in. This is rovers ya know. Just mingle with the 130 "supporters" invited by R Bristol assuming they are not all Al-Q's family members etc! it seems odd to me we've not been allowed at least an even split of the people attending given that it's at the Mem not R Bristol studios. So what are some interesting questions for those attending? 1) What's the latest on talks with the UWE? 2) Is funding for the UWE now fully in place? 3) If talks go well when should work commence/finish? 4) Will the stadium be built to the original plans? 5) What's the latest on purchasing our own training ground? 6) How does the budget given to DC this season compare to other Div 1 clubs? 7) Could we survive in the Championship at the Mem if DC pulled off a third consecutive promotion 8) Are there any concerns about keeping such a large squad of players happy? 9) Has suggested in thepast work on the UWE car park must start this summer, does that remain the case? 10) Are there any plans to return to Sabadell next summer, or arrange a similar tour for players/fans? 11) What's is views on the latest EFL proposals to increase the FL to 100 clubs, possibly inc the two Scottish giants? Good to see GT is using my questions as his script tonight that's the first 5 covered off already!

UWE: finance in place, issues dealt with, finance was never an issue, feasibility study for preferred option, start hopefully very soon, but discussions still need to happen. Training ground: turnaround time with local authorities unknown, hopefully very soon. We will be in Horfield for only two more years. 2 more years from the start of build not 2 more years from now

Might be wrong, though. He said it's a two year build, but it's actually 62 weeks.

Just look at his user name for a clue? Outrageous ! Are you denying there are such rumours ? Think Wael just knocked them on the head, unless the whole campus is going to be built at the UWE? I can't understand what Wael means about the firm of top accountants doing a feasibility study over the next couple of weeks. As what feasibilities are they looking into if the finance is already apparently in place, whether building the stadium itself is still feasible, or whether the stadium needs to built bigger or smaller, or something else?

Not sure why but i feel even more peed off about it now Swings and roundabouts, most instances like the one at Southend even themselves out over a season. 2013-14 aside, but then we were dreadful so...

It's when it evens out though,we could be 2-0 up when we get our wrongly given penalty,or 3-0 down. Still here's hoping you're correct

62 weeks was the previous regimes guesstimate! A regime with expertise in construction! A 15 month construction period may well include most of one season and part of the next and if we are not allowed to change ground part way through a season, then it will be two football years at the Mem. Edit- Didn't mean to like my own post, but don't know how to unlike it! Thanks meadsgas, I do now 😀

I assume the accountants will be checking that the favoured option is capable of producing the income streams that the Al Qadis are hoping it will.

Why don't the club encourage the renewal of U11s STs? It isn't straight forward to renew. I have not renewed because of that, neither have I had a letter or reminder. Basically unless I jump through hoops, the club has lost 3 kids this season. Upon speaking with the SC staff, it is apparent that they have no voice on the issue and it's pointless offering feedback or opinion. Not annoyed but very disappointed. Strange. I went in to buy my season ticket in the summer, and filled out the renewal form for my grandsons s/t and it took me all of a minute. Really can't understand why it's difficult. All you need to remember is the photographs. I didn't take photos or birth certificates. I took money and am known to the staff. It is a rubbish system. I understand needing all the proofs initially, but to renew is ott. The kids are off the database now which is another failure on the clubs behalf in terms of future business.

But as I posted on the UWE thread, what happens if the accountants feasibility report now suggests its not feasible when the UWE is said to be the only option? I'm surprised GT didn't question Wael more on that point.

DPA rules, which are a minefield even for adults, probably mean the club can't hold their records once they are no longer members.
