Does yourself mean myself? I've asked myself this and came to the conclusion I can please oneself. So basically you can please yourself. Now go and wash hubbies socks.

Having grow up in Bath in the 80's/90's, supporting Bath and Rovers was the only way. Never really cared about Bristol, but their #makingbristolproud nonsense, and the association with the dark side has made me dislike them. Similar to my story. Was a bath rugby supporter before coming to Rovers matches at Twerton. Couldn't give a monkeys about any of them now though. Top level professional rugby has become as commercial, globalised and money laden as high level football has. I wouldn't watch either even if I was given a free ticket. Bath is very corporate now & they seem to think they own the Rec and the city. Bristol going to Bristol Sport was the end of any general Bristolian like I may have had for them.

Being born in Wales (don't worry I support england) I've never really followed either but since the franchise took over bristol I can't help but applaud every point scored against them.
On a side note about professional rugby being 'money laden' many people don't realise an average aviva premiership player will only earn £70000 a year! Wayne Rooney earns that in two days!

Growing up I played both Football and Rugby, and the first time I ever went to the Mem' was to play there in the Gloucestershire cup final with Dings Crusaders at the age of 16, this on top of being a proud Bristolian meant that I always followed Bristol and wanted them to do well, nowadays I don't have any interest in rugby apart from watching England games.
Since the dark lord took them down to the hell hole to play I've got even less interest in how they do to the point of not caring but the same applies to Bath or any other team.

I have only ever watched Bristol at Twickenham for big games, more for the occasion than any interest in rugby. To be honest club rugby does nothing for me, But Bristol is my home town so of course I hope they do well.

Shouldn't even be up for discussion. If you're from Bristol, you support um.... Bristol.
About to sign the South African lock for £40k per game!!
