Sepp Blatter is on board now. Fifa said that after watching our performance on Tuesday, his ban from attending football matches wouldn't be a problem!

So Lee Atkins has gone. Don't know why, but where is Mr Cunnar (if that's how it's spelt) ?
Told there are possibly two others. We shall see.

Michael Cunnah is not a Director, but an advisor on the Stadium. With Lee Atkins gone, the current line up is: Wael Al Qadi Steve Hamer Ken Masters Brian Seymour-Smith Mike Turner

Several contributors who called it BS, where are they now?

In honesty not sure why this guy or Michael Cunnah are / were (or perhaps weren't in this case) on the board. There remit, whilst very important, is very narrow in just looking at the new stadium can't see they were ever going to have much input to match day hospitality at the Mem or decisions on players contracts. Thought they would sit much more naturally as reporting to the board on specific issues especially as both seem to have their own businesses.

Too embarrassed to show their faces no doubt. Um, one director whose role is uncertain and who most fans have never heard of has left the board. The fans directors are a bit of an irrelevance so are we to assume that Wael and / or Steve are on their way too?

I gather Lee Atkins had assisted during the takeover process - although I don't know to what extent. Any takeover will need to put a board in place and it would seem that Lee Atkins was experienced and trusted by the Al Qadis. As the stadium was such a key issue, it is not surprising that someone on the board was tasked with overseeing that aspect. As stated above, Michael Cunnah was not on the board, but was an expert advisor (presumably paid for his services) whilst maintaining his other business activities elsewhere. I'll admit to being a little worried. We are waiting on news on the stadium and possibly a go/no go decision. If this was imminent, I would have expected Lee Atkins to remain in place until at least an announcement was made. We'll see..

Must admit that I have assumed somewhat in saying the Boardroom. Perhaps I should have said top table. Not got used to the number of new people and their status. Let's say top table(s).
If what I heard was true, and it seems to be so far, Cunnah seems to have disappeared.
But as someone said, given his role I don't think he is needed any longer, after all we must be paying out a fortune to the consultants.
Given the new definition, possibly two more may go, What worries me is that it seems a mini power battle may be ensuing involving a rugby man from North of Bristol. Hope not, as it's football people we need.
But no worries about Wael who is the best thing to happen to us for a while.

People said he had disappeared a few weeks ago, so I tweeted Wael instead of listening to rumours. He tweeted he was still here and still working away. He might have left since if course, but apparently he had already left then! Lol

He was in charge of marketing club Wembley etc, when that was built and bringing money in etc.

I thought that Wael said a few weeks back when we were waiting for the feasibility study that when a deal with UWE was concluded "they" will announce it, "they" being the people or board members who were working on it.
Am I right? Did he say that or did I imagine it?
If he did say that and the "they" are the two departed people it doesn't auger well does it!
