The big trouble with DC is he wants and expects too much and that is why he changes the side all the time. If he set out with a 4-4-2 and gave it a chance by playing 2 or 3 games with it instead of changing it after 45 minutes then perhaps it will work. Pick a side and the formation and stick with it and see what happens. Judge Boateng, Montano, Easter, Lines after 3 or 4 consecutive games and see where it takes us. m If he had done this earlier perhaps by now he would have found his best team and formation. I looked at the Shrewsbury winger yesterday and thought what a great player who I would love to see play for us and then I thought..no he wouldn't get many games under DC because he stays out wide and doesn't defend. I very much expect that he plays five games on the trot and maybe has 3 like yesterday and 2 like our wingers. You only got to look at the way he has played James up front... 20 mins here and there if he is lucky, yet every time i see him play i think he deserves more playing time Then again he will have to drop glory boy to fit him in and that won't ever happen

I watch a hell of a lot of football in many different divisions and I can't think of one successful side that plays the diamond.
Why the **** do they play it then???

We need Sincs & Clark in midfield as w/o them we get over run, we all said similar before the Charlton game and we all know how that ended. Although if you do go for the diamond surely you needs Leads to give us width down the right wing?

In my opinion anyway.

Mid table league one side. WHY ARE PEOPLE MOANING Up the gas ! We are mid-table only because of a decent start to the season but on current form we're relegation zone. If this form continues we will be relegated. Erm, surely if this form continues we end up mid table?

In my opinion anyway. Just to be clear,as I didn't copy it too well, the original comment was by Socrates & referred to teams generally. Whether it's good for us or not isn't my point. It's that if the diamond doesn't work why does anyone play it. I'll answer that myself - because managers are arrogant, obstinate blinkered individuals (apparently).

It's so bloody obvious it's scary.

Erm, surely if this form continues we end up mid table? Current form is 4 points from the last 6 games. If that continues we'll collect 16 more points from the last 24 games. We would then finish up with 46 points which most years would result in relegation.

Even on Saturday our midfield 4 was being overrun so god knows what would have happened with just 2 in the middle. Whilst DC is stubborn he's no fool, if wingers were a better option why wouldn't he play them?

And have you got an answer about how you know what deals he was offered or turned down?
