£20k more than we paid for Gaffney! Ignoring saturdays performance from RG I think Torquay have done well there.

Very pleased for him. He contributed well in our conference run in and I will always remember his classy dummy to let Taylor's ball run for Lines in the play off semi final. One of my favourite Gas goals. Clarke didn't give him a chance in league 2. I think he only played about 20 minutes. He wasn't right for the style Clarke wanted us to play, which was obviously fair enough, but I wouldn't be so quick to come out and say he isn't good enough to do a job for somebody in league 2. If Topper was in charge, he'd be leading the line now Bliss may do ok if he has a team built around him like Akinde but can't see him playing above league 2 at the very most. I think you want to get out of dream land, saying play Bliss in one match doesn't mean building a team around him.

I said when he left us that Blissst would come good. He is more than capable of becoming a l2 striker and I think he was unfairly maligned I`d agree with that. Apart from the "unfairly."

Blissett must have the same agent as Jake Gosling, both stealing a living as footballers Gosling is 23 ffs. Give him a chance. And if you look at all the photos of him with the squad he looks like a very well liked & positive influence.

Don't know why but it's always irked me when certain players f**k about in the warm up and don't take it seriously before a game. Trotting about, messing around, more interested in pointing people out in the crowd and not getting focussed. Gosling was always one of those players.

I get a feeling he's the joker in the pack / social guy then because all the photos he's in when on bench he's the centre of attention & bringing out smiles in everyone.

Perhaps you should time yourself to turn up at three-o-clock on the dot. You seem very easily upset - possibly just a teeny bit picky.

£15,000 up front further £15,000 based on appearances = £30,000 - probably about right. Bliss much more experienced than their 'Ted loanee Arnold Garita who has been leading the line for Argyle recently.

His parents name him Arnold & a foreign club come & buy it but no-one told him it was the sh**.

I should also probably avoid the half time warm ups, they're the worst. Sometimes a lack of respect shown to the fitness coach (if that's what he is) by players doing half-hearted drills.

And if you look at all the photos of him with the squad he looks like a very well liked & positive influence. He has done next to nothing, didn't even look decent in the conference. Are we on the lookout for players who can tell a few jokes and have good 'banter' or do we want footballers who can make a difference?

If he's gone for money, it could be the case that we are due some. Anybody know, if so how much? lol.

But he did do the business at the end of last season by making telling contributions as sub in the last two matches. I don't think he'll play much more, if at all, but I will always be thankful for his contribution and give him the respect he deserves because of it. And at 23 he could still improve and have a very good career. For his sake I hope he does.

Sometimes a lack of respect shown to the fitness coach (if that's what he is) by players doing half-hearted drills.I have to say that I totally agree with you on that. i read an extract from pirlo the italian stars autobiography,he said he "hated pre-match warm ups with every fibre of his body,in fact it disgusted him" he called it "masturbation for fitness coaches at players expense" i look at rovers pre-match and half time and we seem to be grossly over staffed in the player warm up department, blokes trying to look busy putting a few extra cones or discs out,i know this is the new rovers but its a bit of a farce to my eyes.
