Forest Green are set to bring in a wide player from League One Bristol Rovers.
Speaking after Saturday's FA Trophy last 32 victory at Chester, manager Mark Cooper said a deal had been agreed with a player.
The winger in question is likely to begin work with his new team mates on Tuesday and there could be another new arrival too.
Striker Kieffer Moore has left the club to join Championship club Ipswich Town on an 18 month deal, while Elliott Frear has declared that he does not want to play for the club again, with a host of higher level team believed to be chasing his signature.
He will be leaving the New Lawn in the near future.

It's been reported that a winger is set to leave Rovers to Join Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday.
Assuming it's our International Jake Gosling?
Great player on his day when in the lower leagues, so should be a very good asset to get another local club into the Football League

Local papers are suggesting FGR have agreed terms with a winger from the Gas and he is signing for them Tuesday, Gosling? Sinclair? Montano? We will find out early this week

I can't see Sincs is considered a winger, I assume it's Gosling but surprised they don't want better considering the money they seem to spend. Hope to god it's not Monty!

Gosling for Elliott Frear is the speculation on their forum. Would throw in Puddy, Lawrence , Moore and Mansell as well if FGR wanted them to balance the deal.

Gotta be Gosling. Bodin is League 1 material, shouldn't be dropping down the leagues. Monty has a point to prove and Moore has been at L1 level for a while and hasn't had much of a shot yet in the first team. It has been pretty clear throughout this season that Gosling is unlikely to play another game for us, especially with his loan to Cambridge. Makes sense.
