No, I've been told he's left plus there's no mention of him on the club website. If he's the club performance analyst then shouldn't he be watching his own club's players perform. There's no mention of me on our company website ? It means nothing You mean they missed off your 2nd place at the annual bog cleaner of the year awards off their employee of the month section? Bastards!

So he isn't being given money by the board then. I can't see how anything he says there backs up the claim he is being financially supported. All a bit odd this to me. Certainly mixed messages on budgets...one minute he's thanking Board for their support and saying he has funds to add to the squad now, a few weeks later, his defense is that he has a bottom 8 budget...if he's spent upto the wages cap as Hamer suggested then it's hardly surprising there is no money. Surely DC knew this at start of transfer window and so why did he start building expectations about signings? He could well have funds to spend. Still could mean we have a bottom 8 budget.

It means nothing Given he was apparently the link between DC & Wael I'd consider that an important role, more important than our goalie coach & kit man who are both listed on the website, it could be the person who told was talking BS but so far nobody seems to have supplied any evidence to say he's still around, even the goalie he possibly recommended didn't get any game time.

I wouldn't rely on the official website for up to date information to be honest.

I don't honestly believe we have a bottom 8 budget. But I do believe it's probably around the middle (12th-15th).
We were probably spending a lot of money on the fact that our squad was so big. DC kept his promise last year and offered contracts to the lads that got us promoted. Now that we know they are not good enough they can be offloaded. Then we can turn a 25 man squad of some good and some average league one players, into a 20 man squad of some quality and some good league one players. Hence the three year plan. UTG!

Speak to other managers?? Given it's a mixture of Conference & Div 2 players isn't it likely to be low, budget wise? Only Moore & Lawrence were Div 1 players last season so the rest could be on Conference/Div 2 contracts with just a small pay rise in the summer? Walsall by comparison probably have to pay all their players Div 1 salaries, although w/o Rovers fans on Saturday their attendance would have been 4,000 compared to our 8.000/9,000 gates.

Not sure a Linkedin profile supports anything, the fact nobody has reported seeing him at a Rovers match recently says a lot more? Plus if money is tight surely his wages are better spent on a CH/CM anyway? As regards the other poster saying there's no point saying we have money, the permanent signings since our promotion suggest DC's doesn't have a lot of cash to spend. So you moan that nobody has found anything to suggest he is still at the club. I give some evidence that he is and you dismiss it as irrelavent. I give up.

How does DC know he has a bottom 8 budget ffs? Managers talk when they meet up.
Also, I have had hospitality at away grounds and other clubs Directors have always given me an indication of their wage roll when asked. How truthful they are, I cannot guarantee.
I spoke to the Managing Director of Sheff Utd and he gave me a figure which was a lot less than I imagined but when I relayed that to SH, he believed it was even lower.

Managers talk when they meet up? Yes of course they do but I bet the majority of them are either bullshitting or rather economical with the truth? I don't understand why DC keeps mentioning bottom 8 budget or what he is trying to achieve by keep bringing it up, as it's all speculation. Don't get me wrong DC is the best thing that's happened to this club in decades and he is currently sorting out / trimming the squad for us to move forward as a competitive club in the championship. I like many others felt that Macca & Jamma were capable of doing a job at this level at least until the end if the season, but I'm not the manager and in DC I trust. As someone mentioned before " he doesn't f**k about does he" Respect!

Why would he be at our games, if he's still our player requirement analyst, then surely he would be watching potential targets and analysing their performance?? We have enough of our staff watching our games. So you are just guessing he's no longer with us??? No, I've been told he's left plus there's no mention of him on the club website. If he's the club performance analyst then shouldn't he be watching his own club's players perform. Topper - I do not know where you are getting your info but I suggest you seek new "sources of info".
Will Dubey is STILL working for BRFC and a simple question to anyone on the training staff will confirm that.

Maybe DC thinks we will finish in the bottom 8 this season. By reminding everyone about his budget, it softens the blow(if it's fair to call league 1 survival that) when we end up in a realistic position.

The statement of a man who sounds pretty sick of every tiny bit of information being analysed to death. If another offer comes in for DC it might be harder to refuse as managing us is a pretty thankless task.

Thankless? When we are successful it's great! These are the best times of DCs career and I don't think the Evil post and a handful of forumites will derail that.
