What's up with him? Out of all the members of our current squad I see him as having the most potential. Came on last couple of minutes and looked sharp for the limited amount of opportunity he had. I hear rumours of his poor attitude and twatter antics, it's disappointing. Hope this season can be a turning point for the lad, with the right attitude he could go on to do good things and earn us a bit of coin in the process. C'mon buck up and act like a pro, putt the team first because ultimately it will benefit you in the long run.

It would seem the ball is back in Ellis' court. He has some making up to do after last season and hopefully he can get his head down and fire us up the table.

Has he actually misbehaved this season? I think that people are quick to jump on Ellis, because of his past behaviour. The story of him being drunk in Clifton on a Friday night, when he was actually staying with Lee Brown and his wife, is an example of people wanting him to fail. Then there was the Facebook comment, which was a song lyric, and could have meant any number of things, but people saw it as Ellis saying he was too big for Bristol.
I really hope that Ellis does well, it seems that he is getting support from his team mates off the pitch, so hopefully it will be a win win result for Rovers on the pitch!

Ellis had a tough year last year and clearly lost his head due to a false allegation that hung over him for way too long.
I am told that he has come back a different man this year, has worked very hard and kept his nose very clean but needs to regain DC's trust. Appearing today may be a sign that he is winning DC over. I hope so.
Keep at it Ellis, at your best you are easily good enough

I believe Ellis is the player who can and does unlock defences. Last season when he did come on he was setting up for Harrold who could not keep up with him. Then he had the lovely cross in for Kaid who I felt had a great partnership going. Ellis has been hard done by but he needs to help himself. Performances like yesterday will do that but now DC has got to give him something back. Like A START ! Keep it up Ellis. Well done

Looked a threat when he came on but quite often does without the end product.
Good to see Clarke gave him a chance yesterday and proved the people wrong who claimed he had a grudge against the kid.

Thought he look decent for the short period he was on, there is no doubt there is potential there, hopefully Ellis will make the most of it.

I said in the match thread yesterday that I hoped he came on for twenty minutes. Sounds like he did OK, and shame DC didn't give him a bit longer. I'd really like him to prove his doubters wrong and show what he can really do this season

But that's exactly the problem with him he has always had the potential just a fish brain to go with that talent especially for our league I personally think that he could terrorize defenders but u can still see it in him we need someone who we can get to get into he head and beat the stupidness out of him

The thing is, we say this all the time "maybe this is his year" but like someone has already said he might have had a lot hanging over him. Gonna put my neck on the line and say he's gonna have a good season with us and grow into his potential.

It would be a big boost if Ellis could find form,i feel he offers us something different to all our other strikers, pace along with strength.

And I don't think the 'pressure' that is apparently negatively impacting on all the other players at the club will have the same effect on Harrison tbh.

I'd ike to see him play up front, gotta good ability of turning quick and driving into the box.. Could be exactly what we've been asking for up top.

He looked good when he came on for the last 10 minutes or so. It's going to take a bit more than that to convince me of his abilities, though. It's a positive start and I love to see him build on it and win fans, including me, back around.

Yep just like he did when he first got into the side. The combination of bulking up before last season/defensive duties becoming the priority under wardy/personal problems and confidence being shattered,Ellis should be able to produce without the weight of the world on his shoulders.Maybe he has taken on board that this is his last opportunity here and he's now champing at the bit for more game time.Certainly looked like that yesterday. Edit: agree with LRB's comment above, will take a good run of form to regain a lot of fans faith in him.
