SH: We weren't prepared for Matty Leaving. No replacement. No problem as our forwards are fine. Nothings changed at BRFC. We must be the only League 1 club to end January with a weaker squad than we started it. FFS " We weren't prepared for Matty Leaving." The bid went in for him on Saturday!!!! FFS

Great, just to rub salt into the wounds, why bother to appear on the radio to tell us nothing new. I do wonder where we're heading as a club after today's events. I'm not worried where we are going as a club but I mentioned earlier in the transfer window hat I am unhappy at he lack of ambition in this window. has it turned you to drink?

What an over-reaction by most, especially GGMI.
As the bloke said, Taylor only scored 4 of our last 20. Scoring has not been a problem for us, it's keeping them out the other end. We have recruited at that end and there's no reason why we can't still push on.

I think our owners owe the fans some sort of reassurance. Perhaps it will be about the UWE. Talks this weeks Should hear within the next two weeks. If we don't announce we've exchange contracts on the 3 Feb for the training ground I doubt we need to wait for anymore announcements. The latest news on R Bristol is they expect a player to leave tonight once his contract is paid up!

Quite obvious McBurnie would not come here to warm our bench again, Roberts recent experience says it all. Shows a total lack of ambition as far as I am concerned. We have already been told we have exchanged on the training ground with completion on the 3rd [Friday]. So we could not pull out of that without financial penalty. Hoping Thursday is the day that the UWE deal is fully agreed and signed off. UTG!

Even with Taylor here, it seemed we were thinking long term and looking to strengthen for a renewed challenge over the summer.
With him going on deadline day, would a last minute desperation move for a striker, paying over the odds, really do us any favours, long term? Any signing would take a while to find his feet anyway.
Better value in the summer and a big chunk of the wage bill. We might just be in better shape than we think.

Rarrrrrr Al-Qadis out. Blah, blah, blah. Personally i would just play Easter and i wouldnt be suprised if Clarke did. Just take a breath people Are you serious, how can you be relaxed after we just sold one of our star players to our neighbours and not brought in a replacement. Because i am pretty confident we are safe in league one. We have brought in.players in defence. Ellis has a chance to stake his claim to be the main man (and he is capable). Easter can still be picked whatever DC said unless we arr paying him off. And i have broader horizons than getting worked up about the football right now

I have seeious doubts about this board, just as much a serious thought as to where the previous wonga loan debt has been hidden .

We, as supporters, have tonite been shafted, not only let our price asset leave to our rivals. We then bring no one in. I just can't believe that we had nothing as back up. Our club needs to give the fans some positive news, because at the moment I feel like we're having our pants pulled down.

Hamer, says Taylor was desperate to leave and join the *****, he also says there is nobody coming in, and wants to know why the supporters think we need a replacement and he says DC is pretty laid back about it all, McBernie going to Peterborough. We just got to get on with it. Really with Gaffney up front. FFS So if DC is laid back about things, he obviously forgot about the keeper, the left back and the 10 million!
