This all seems very plausible until reference to assists. The Times indicates that C*** Taylor has one of the best records in the division for assists this season. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/league-one/top-scorersMatty Taylor Bristol Rovers 131 per goal 2097 played 16 Goals scored 0 Assists The BBC stats are inaccurate. I recall that he certainly assisted Lines' equaliser at home to Gillingham. I expect there were others too.

I just bored myself to death watching some footage from earlier this season, and other than where he scored, he didn't play the final pass for a goal to anyone. ( about 8 games) Sorry
couldn't get myself to watch any more of him.

Yeah, I just watched that Lines goal that brisgas mentioned, and it was brilliant, except halfway through some f**ker spoiled it by kicking the ball.

Ok everyone, make a list of all the people you don't like on here and send it me by PM and I'll have them gone by the afternoon. Actually I don't like me. Can you help me please? Anyway, as for why didn't anyone else bid. How about because this was all set up in the summer. It was agreed that Taylor stay until January, and prove he could cut it at this level. If he did (which he did) they would then take him if he kept the blackmail figure low, i.e. £300k. Not only that but to guarantee his salary level and term of contract, in the knowledge that they could then sell him if he doesn't come off for them, and still get more than their money back to Oxford or whoever. Taylor wouldn't care because he is now set up for life. Nobody else came in for him because his agent would have let clubs no there was no point in them pursuing it. Remember, he didn't gain one assist this season, probably because he needed to be the shining light, and ensure any glory stayed with him to up his sh*thead profile. In December They probably said don't worry now Judas, we will be in for you so start letting it go now. Hopefully, this has now come to light and we are about to make the accusation, sue the bast*rds and get them a points deduction. I just love this, because it puts more wood on the fire that tells me I hate them for all the right reasons. Then we announce the UWE. And for my next novel................. That would be why a certain sh#ty manager was at the mem all those times and maybe even a Mr ex sh#ty manager was there scouting for them.

Unless we have some really solid evidence how possibly would the sh**e agree to doing that and if we had surely we would involve the League and take them to the cleaners.

It'd be funny if he was ineligible to play until the case was resolved. ITV news suggests there's no case though?

I guess the EFL just like to brush corruption in the game under the carpet.

I think this is a major scandal and needs serious investigation.
I doubt that ever before in the history of football an agent has revealed the release clause of a player he represents.
It could be worth about £5m compo imho, so well worth pursuing.

Moving on, have we not learnt our lesson from Wycombe when we complained about them. We got nowhere as will happen here.

I don't think we need to prove anything. The proof is right there for everyone to see. MT's release clause was £300k and they offered £300k. That can't be seen as coincidence.
The people that need to provide proof of anything is c*ty. They obviously knew that was the release clause fee, so they need to prove that they didn't find that out illegally.
And if I was the EFL I wouldn't accept, 'well we saw it in the Bristol post', because that is the least reliable source of news ever.
