Steve Phillips was quite interesting explaining how nasty it was when he moved to us - clearly there is a big percentage of meat heads on that side of the River, but I wonder what Taylor made of those comments if he heard them ? Taylor in an interview was also questioned about Police presence outside his home and a city official interrupted and changed the subject.

Nowt much going on that isn't on the forum already.
Steve Phillips was on saying about the breeze blocks through his car window and getting punched in the gym by a shithead.
T-bone got a mention saying he won't miss Matty

He actually was quoted as saying he had watched Luke James video of goals for Hartlepool and that he scored some good 1 on 1s something Taylor never did - have to say he has a point ..... Anyone who doubts James can score goals given a run should watch the video. )

I'm not sure he's played too much as a centre forward since leaving 'pool.

OTIB retards seem to think some of the callers were inciting violence towards the snake, cant say I heard anything like that at all.
Oh well if they are happy with a ragbag Rovers signing to save them from relegation soon after making 12 million on Kodjia then more fool them.

Could just be me though I have often thought how much the bloke that summarises for Radio Bristol for those that float sounds uncannily like Keith. I cannot recall his name but I would guess it was him.

Clearly knows where the goal is and maybe now he's going to get a good run in the side DC and Stewy can get him scoring again. I find it a bit odd that he hasn't had more game time to date as you'd think if he was MT's direct replacement when we got him in the summer then DC would be looking to get him into the system a bit earlier so he could hit the ground running. And the downside of course is that I think we only have him on loan so if he does well presumably we either won't be able to buy him or his price will go skyrocketing. Peterborough paid half a mill for him so they are hardly going to give him away I'd imagine. Darrell clearly has faith in him though so fingers crossed he starts finding the net.

If he played James over Taylor a load of armchair pundit pricks would be berating him for not playing Taylor. If he didn't score some said pricks would destroy his confidence. If he doesn't play the 2-6-2-1 formation that a n other pundit saw as the answer after the game, he gets sh**. God knows what swapping Taylor for James would have produced.

It still doesn't explain why up to Christmas LJ was played mainly as a right winger and JE was MT's obvious replacement when it came to subs. If LJ's such a good finisher why's he never been given a chance upfront before?

Chris Hargreaves was also very complimentary about James in a recent interview, so there's obviously belief throughout the coaching staff that he's up to the task, not just DC. There's also the element of surprise (nobody expects the Spanish...lol) and opposition managers will have to work out who to focus on rather than, um,...what was his name?

Correct, DC even got stick for putting James on for 20 minutes last Saturday
