You lived in Birmingham? Jeez, no wonder you were depressed Hugo, could have been worse he could have been a "Stokie" a Yam Yam or a Dingle (I served with two Units from the Midlands and they tend to give each other gyp depending on their location). As Lenny Henry would say - "Dudlie" My ex lived in Coventry for 3 years when she was at Warwick Uni. That was truly a horrible place.

As Lenny Henry would say - "Dudlie" My ex lived in Coventry for 3 years when she was at Warwick Uni. That was truly a horrible place. I had a supplier in Coventry, not a great location but they were on the ball. They actually sponsored the local athletic club the "Harriers". Had a couple of nights out in Wolverhampton & Stoke in the late 70's, feck me that was an education for a young lad from the country (Pilning/Severn Beach)

Nuneaton is a horrible place, too. Used to live in Leicester and I had to drop my partner off for work in Coventry a few times. The thought of that ring road gives me nightmares!
