the last time I bought one I asked for a "chicken curry pie" and to my surprise the chicken tasted and looked so much like beef that I was pretty convinced that it was actually beef.... although this was shortly before the horse meat scandal so I might be wrong.... They are beef. Don't bother trying to ask the staff in the pasty huts, they don't know what's in them.

Does anyone else think that the pasties have gone completely downhill since the club took over running the food outlets. It is my one criticism of the "matchday experience" - the food cabins are awful and so is the food.
This is a comment from someone who looked forward to the matchday pasty almost as much as the game itself. Totally agree. The food at the Mem used to be excellent, now its almost completely awful.

This is a comment from someone who looked forward to the matchday pasty almost as much as the game itself. I wouldn't say the cabins are the worst they've ever been. About five seasons ago the one at bottom of West enclosure behind the new tent used to have a queue a mile long because of their inability to serve at anything faster than glacial speed. They also used to only turn the tea urns on when they began serving meaning that if you ordered a cup of tea you received a paper cup full of barely tepid bathwater. They're far more on it now. The pasties have dipped in quality but are still worth the money in my opinion. One thing which has been consistent is the staff's complete and abject inability to do basic mental arithmetic, even just simple addition.

I'm quite convinced they just go to a local junior school on Friday afternoons and say "Who wants to earn a couple of quid tomorrow afternoon"?

When we first moved back to Bristol they were excellent. Now they are bloody awful and have been for a few years. They are soggy and fall apart. They are now beef instead of chicken too and the beef ones are even worse. The food at the concession stands at the Mem is disgusting. And why the hell is there only one flavour of crisps and one type of chocolate bar? I was explaining the Henry ford phenomenon at the mem To my missus today You can have any crisps as long as they're cheese n onion you can have any chocolate bar as long as it's a twix

And whilst I'm at it the proper Cornish pasties that used to be good are now devoid of meat, a tasteless mush and my 8 yr old son complains bitterly about them as he loves a proper pasty, and they aren't that

On your website you have referred to us as BCFC.. Are you taking this seriously!? We are ROVERS, not city 😷 It's BRFC, jeez, unforgivable. Edit - In fact your writing from the perspective of Bradford City, really quite confusing that. Further, the pasties are sh**ter than city - 1/5. Graeme isn't a credible reviewer.

i bought a cheese and onion pasty on Saturday and was left with the question: where did it all go wrong? i used to buy them because they were the best available, but now i wouldn't even consider them 'low Grade' more like 'no Grade'.... shame, because when you lose a great thing it's really difficult to get it back....
