On the other forum "176k stolen, all bar 42k recovered and that is covered by a charge on a property being sold apparently."

I think the Dwane Sports thread on here has stolen that mantle.

I was hoping that there would be some info from a Q&A of the board members there. The fraud isn't that interesting, unless you're a SC member I suppose.

He said if he plays he is likely to trigger a clause that gives him another years contract, plus his agent is the same one as Matty Taylor had and i think SH said ' you don't invite someone in your home who has stole off you before' or along those lines.

At least that theory of mine was right! gaschat.co.uk/post/260964

SH also said he was about to have a knee operation and, perhaps ill-advisedly, said that given his age 'he's finished'.

It was a bigger turnout tonight, guess that was to be expected. Felt a bit sorry for Jim Chappell, who at one point was near to tears.

Obvious that the SC committee had been 'somewhat lax' in their overview and scrutiny of finances; but seem to have acted promptly and correctly once the hole in the accounts was spotted: and now have every procedure and check in place to ensure that nothing like that happens again.

Small amounts over a period of time......not enough scrutiny to spot that it was happening.

No indication as to why. If I understood what was said about half has been recovered and the rest is 'on its way'/covered (I didn't really understand that bit!)

I sensed it meant the culprit had returned the majority, and the rest (which they've already spent) will come very soon on the sell of their property which the SC has a 'first charge' on. so i can only assume they have no mortgage.
