In the poll above 76% thought we could make play offs. Dressing room will be confident right now. All set. Ready for passengers.

In the poll 4% thought we would do better than play offs. They might be right....

We had a few targets at start of season says Darrell in video after Wimbledon game. Get 50 points avoid relegation sound like a security target. Get 62 points ( best Rovers position in 17 years) sound like a realistic target.
Didn't talk about other targets. I would guess at start of season a stretching target would have been playoffs.
Finally ground-breaking target would have possibly been promotion.
I pretty certain that his contract has different sorts of targets. Happy days if he goes beyond his realistic target.
Look forward to a ground breaking finish.

We have nothing to lose now. We have had a fantastic season. Is the ground breaking goal still on. Our rivals losing both games today came as a surprise and who knows we might just sneak in.
I've nothing to lose by bouncing this thread again. I'm sure the team will give their all in next two games and let's say we win both.
The pressure is not on us. Have we not already exceeded many of our expectations?
The ground-breaking bus 🚌 is setting off again for another ride. I've got my tickets for Millwall and know that the last games of any season sometimes throws up some strange results. We know all about that. This time it might go our way.
The bus already has one passenger willing us to victory. If results go our way next week there will be a rush for tickets and believe me the dressing room will think too that at last it's in our hands.
Are you on board?

Why am I confident......
Southend have two tough games.... Rochdale could lose to Bradford... Millwall could drop two points against Oxford. We can beat Peterborough.
Happy days on this promotion bus!!

Can't see it happening myself. Getting off at the next stop! We have been ground breaking before. You might jump back on this time next week. It's possible.... Southend were not expecting to lose against MK Dons. I can see it happening...

The last time we did something groundbreaking was when we're relegated from the Football League for the first time in our history, you did a good job there.

It's a funny old game Saint, but possible, it would be amazing if we had to beat Millwall to get in play-offs, the atmosphere would be "Are friends electric"

Not if Southend fail to win either of their last two games and we pick up at least a point at Posh.

Not if Southend fail to win either of their last two games and we pick up at least a point at Posh. Exactly. This time next week it could be unbelievably in our own hands. We would have taken this at start of season. Still in contention for play offs with two games to go.

I was responding to the suggestion that it could all come down to the game against Millwall, going into the last game we would still be dependent on Southend not winning at the same time we were putatively beating Millwall.
