Rather have Ollie Mcburnie loads have players have struggled with the step up, he wasn't great at Luton and he is no spring chicken, move on, sure DC has plenty of options.
I think that Brad inman who has been put on the transfer list at the peterborough might be a decent signing, did well at crewe and was unlucky this season suffering a broken leg. Matt Godden from stevenage or James alabi from chester might also make decent signings.
Genuine question here mate but how can we have missed out on him if the transfer window doesn't open until 1st of July? Plus IF it is true he may be going surely if we want him that badly we would offer him better terms.

I like the James Alabi shout. I'd much rather us take a gamble on a young lad who's scored goals this season in League 2/Conference and is gonna be hungry to make the step up than someone who's a hasbeen from the Championship. Would be the much cheaper option too. UTH!

Agreed, but only if he promises to wear shin-pads. If this Miller guy wants to go to the Posh not sure there is much the club can do but I don't even know for sure if he was even on DC's shopping list.
I can only agree with what other posters have said , how can we of lost out on miller when we weren't even looking at him ? Is there any evidence to suggest we've tried to sign him? I hope we don't get these types of post each and every time a striker/forward signs from one club to another, surely DC has now earned everyone's trust in his judgement on who comes into the club? He's got mine !
Hes not being given his playing budget for another two weeks whilst other clubs get busy. Was shocked when DC said that and lets not forget the hard time we gave Watola when he forgot to work out the budgets in a timely manner.
If we want to progress sign the best as early as possible. No more Luke James'

The whole Ricky Miller thing is weird. We keep being linked with him but when I have spoke to Marcus Stewart, he seemed to have no interest in him at all. I'm sure DC has said we were never interested in him too.

Totally agree with this ..FFS two days after the end of an excellent season the doubters emerge trying to cause issues that don't exist.
DC has totally earned the right for us to trust his judgement .... if he really wants players like Miller he will get them. I genuinely believe much work is being done already with agents of potential targets.
