Just wondered if there was a sell on clause. Because
1, Not exactly prolific at his new club.
2, Bound to recoup the £300k and may be more close season
3, They will bring in a new striker to replace Abrahams, probably £5 to £10mill and may look to fund it by selling.
3, Served his purpose with making Rovers having to use Luke James as a replacement.
Not sure how many L1 clubs will match his wages but Rotherham put in a bid for Bogle £800k I think, so might be interested, and there is also Scottish Prem.

Doubt it.
Sell ons are sweeteners to clinch a deal where the selling club wants more but you're not prepared to shoulder the extra risk the player turns out to be a duff.
Because there was a release clause, there were no need for sweeteners unless that was part of the release clause too.

I don't care about him and he'll soon find out the sh*t don't either. Unlikely to be a sell-on clause and I guess he'll be happy to just run-down the contact even if not playing if rumours about his wages are right.

No chance there was a sell-on clause. Most likely scenario for mine is that he now runs down his contract sitting on the bench with the odd cameo appearance and then they give him away for virtually nothing at the end of that.

As much as I hate the man and it may be an unpopular view, but their upturn in fortune has coincided with the snake starting up front alongside tampon.
There's no chance he'll be sold and there's no chance of a sell on fee.

It was confirmed at the AGM that there is a sell on clause for the snake. Also BCFC not only knew the release clause figure but all the other details of his contract as well .The deal was described as "shabby" and the unprofessional .Mark Ashton appears to be the chief suspect Also whilst Taylors agent was hawking his clients services around the EFL last summer he employed a personal trainer for 3 weeks and tried to submit the bill to us.He got the appropriate response

I still think he'll see out his contract and leave for nothing though. Once Letdown gives John Snout the chequebook for the summer they will presumably be shopping for an immediate replacement (possibly several) for Tammy Tap-in. I just can't see old snake eyes getting much more than cameo appearances at that level once they build up their squad.

He's on 10k a week. No-one else will pay him that. The only way he will leave will be if he is loaned out to a league one club and they pay half his wages. He has chosen money over football.

I know he is on lot more money now but for the sake of a few months he probably could have had his pick of some decent Championship sides in the summer if he stayed, plus a possible promotion push.
The power of the dolla I guess....

Exactly, which to me confirms that this deal was in the pipeline long before the weekend before deadline day when Rovers first had contact.
Why swop a promotion push to the Championship for a relegation battle from the Championship unless the difference in wages was obscene?
Still, if the teds want to have a w**k over halting our march upwards, having spent spunked many millions of pounds more than us for a number of years then that just shows how badly that have used their advantage.
The whole deal stinks but then sh** always does.

You're kidding yourselves if you think they'll sell him; he's a huge part of the reason they stayed up! Since he joined them their form is:
W - 7 D - 5 L - 6
Results where he's been involved at all:
W - 6 D - 4 L - 5
Form where he's started:
W - 5 D - 2 L - 2
2 goals in 15 isn't great, yes he missed some sitters, but they are a better side with Taylor starting - just like we were - and unfortunately Dwarf Small realised that and as such I'd put money on him starting their first game next season.
