Maybe a stupid question this but does anyone know if the drainage system that's costing all this money can eventually be moved to the UWE and put there? I was going to ask exactly the same thing! Was even going to start the line with 'Stupid question....' Some of the drainage system, maybe all the sprinklers could possibly be moved? Or maybe sold to another sports club? great minds eh, maybe knowall isn't such a knowall

DC made reference several times during the season Maybe DC should concentrate on sorting out our away form. Changing the pitch just gives both teams more of an equal advantage. Rochdale have a shocking pitch and dont lose many games at home. Post of the thread !!

Can't believe people are kicking off at the owners for actually spending money and making improvements!
Just remember, Wael has done more to improve the club in just over a year then the old board did in the last 10 years! Be happy you miserable swines.

Its understandable for fans to think the worst when we were all hoping for good news on the UWE stadium front.
Maybe they should have added a paragraph at the end of the story to say this news isn't linked at all with the new stadium and would have been done either way?
From the little rumours ive heard myself I think the Waels have found the UWE stadium to be a tougher nut to crack that they initially thought when they bought in to the club. Let hope they don't give up and cut their losses.

I just went by a FB post quoting the statement which didn't mention it. I give up with our official site. If they did my apologies.

Our pitch was quite good last season, can't we just give the Groundsman a leg of ham and a bottle of Chivas Regal, for a job well done. Then spend the rest on a striker who can SCORE A FKIN GOAL.

One thing people also need to bear in mind is the number of contacts and advertising partners the club has at its resources. Such as: Dribuild Maple construction CMS Engineering Cyril Dark Carpets, curtains etc
All of these have done work, some recently some over a number of years, for greatly reduced rates in some cases free. The club will be getting a good deal and anything that enhances match day experience is a bonus in my view. Bravo to the board I say for not only investing but supporting local businesses. All in this together so stop moaning and embrace it.
