However, a vote was taken and the majority chose the current format. That's democracy in action. That's not democracy. That's some businesses voting. Democracy doesn't mean just 'voting.' interesting.... the businesses that we pay into are all part of the democratic process, so if their vote isn't democratic aren't we all systematically chuffced?

Well, that's a bit deep. But I'm just making the point that giving seventy-odd businesses in a sort of cartel, voting for a new structure to their marketing the same moral weight as the Brexit referendum, which is millions of people having a direct say on national policy, is a red herring in my view. Democracy has an implicit moral weight as the voice of the people. The EFL really doesn't.

Don't attend the game and spend £20 in the club shop instead. There are many ways to support Rovers without attending these games. Nice idea, but I doubt many will do it. Why are we seeing a fellow supporter called a 'scab' and nothing done about it ? I thought we had the 'attack the post not the poster' mantra on here ? Eh, maybe I'm too young to have a problem with the word? It hardly an insult these days really is it? It's not exactly the same as when peoples lives were effected and their livelihood threatened. It's only football. Or am I reading this thread wrong and people are genuinely getting nasty??

I think a few are getting a bit nasty, only in the 'I am a big man behind my screen' sort of way, that is the way of things now, I accept that . Age is not an excuse for using the term 'scab' it means the same now as then.

Is Henbury a strike breaking miner from the 1980's ? I had no idea people still used words like this. We should bring back more old words like cad, bounder etc.,

I will follow rovers over land and sea I will follow rovers wherever they maybe ⚽️ So henbury like me no one tells me when or where I watch the gas take no notice But we can try and educate that you are not really supporting Rovers in the long term, as I've said already how will you feel if in a couple of seasons we miss out on promotion to the Championship due to an Academy team, possibly even the 82er's, winning promotion instead.
