It'll be a penny on the cost of a pasty, 3p on car parking, and probably coin slots introduced in the bogs......20p a slash, or 30p a dump. Bastards. i wish.... the "club" have increased parking charges this year from £130 to £150 for us punters I wonder if the favoured few have to pay this ? I've been boycotting the car park since these price rises and now me and my mate just park our motorbikes wherever we can and just chain them together. Never been an issue.

Tomorrow will show us all where we are headed as a club in the next few years. This will be the first big chance for our new owners to really make a statement that they also want Championship football in the near term. Obviously, this is going to be anything but cheap, and up until recently I was reasonably hopeful that DC would get what he wants, or at least close to it. Now I'm not so sure. Nothing seems to have moved forward at the training ground, and I mean in terms of levelling and grading the soil for the new pitches, not the infrastructure that requires planning permission. Now today, it seems that the contractors who were planned to begin work on the drainage at the Mem are nowhere to be seen. Hope this is nothing to to worry about, but I can't help thinking back to the AGM, when Wael seemed to prefer not to be there, (yawning two or three times, and taking little part in proceedings)and then SH suddenly announcing that Wael had to leave in the next few moments because he had to catch a train. In itself, nothing much, but why was his departure time not announced at the beginning of the meeting instead of 10 minutes before he had to leave? I don't think this would have happened in a banking forum. Just hope tomorrow shows only positivity and nothing else. Click bait fake news bullshit

I'm not bothered, I can't see us finding out anything. I'm more interested to see what kind of players we end up signing. Exactly. It's hardly as if DC is going to come out with a big red box at 12 o'clock, thrust it in the air and say 'we're rich beyond our wildest dreams.' We're going to find out bugger all about our budget and that's the way it should be.

It will all become very clear within the next few weeks. DC will have a budget - the quality of his signings will show whether or not he has been given a 'significant' playing budget - or whether we are going down the cheap option route of predominantly loan signings again. Hopefully we will see the majority of signings being permanent.
Wael is the friendly, nice guy figure head of BRFC and part of a hard nosed business organisation - Hani is CEO of the bank and effectively the main man controlling budgets. They were all probably at the Chelsea match last night prior to the meeting in London today - hence Chelsea fielding a second eleven so they could run the rule over possible signings.
Not too bothered about the training ground at the mo - SGC should receive a detailed planning application in the next month or so. The UWE decision - good or bad is the big one for me and most of us I would guess - by definition this cannot go on much longer.
The Darwin theory is beginning to push many people's patience somewhat - the next three months are going to be very interesting.

It won't be that private thorough as Newblue suggests it'll be fairly obvious from DC's first couple of signings how much he's been given. Plus if we start hearing rumours other clubs are interested in appointing him as manager it won't look good.
DC's also left himself to be questioned about the budget next time he's interviewed by the press if he responds with "listen, it's not about the budget" that will give us an answer.
