I've rated Wylde for a while. Was hoping we would go in for him Did well in league 2, but struggled in league 1 last season. Similar to some of our players like Gaffney, yet loads moaned that we resigned him! And didn't do that well for Northampton when they were 0-4 down against us in January. But tbf none of them did!! Was taken off very early if I remember correctly. UTG!

Southend complete the signing of 22-year-old released West Ham left back Stephen Hendrie. The former Scotland U17/U19/U21 player previously cost West Ham £1mil+ when he moved from Hamilton Academical.

Doncaster striker Andy Williams will remain at the League One club.
"After taking stock of my attacking options and looking at possible additions, Willo is the best striker available to us and I am glad to continue working with him" said Donny manager Darren Ferguson.

That's it...all the clubs have done their business now...only Rovers left to pick through the leftovers.Might as well close this thread now. Nobody else is signing players from now on......

Chris Humphrey to Bury and Will Buckley to Bolton look good signings. Meanwhile at Rovers... Have Bury done a Man C this summer and just signed every decent player to stop other Div 1 clubs signing them, as it's a bit beyond belief who they've signed given that so far we've signed just the one player.

Right darrell pick up that phone right now! Explain to mark mcchrystal and jermaine easter that it was all a misunderstanding and they were in fact offered contracts. Tell mildy and mansell to get the boots back on as they are just too young to retire. And what about that ex premier league player liam lawrence? whats he up to these days?

It is a bit bemusing when you think about it. Humphrey, O'Shea, Dawson, O'Connell, Beckford and Reilly all potentially decent at this level.

I like what you say a lot of the time pirate but I think your presuming DC sees things the same as you or the rest of us.. Not sure he does. Yes those are decent players at this level but we know DC does things a bit differently esp keeping things close to his chest before announcing new players. Darren Macanthony from Posh he ain't.Thanks for those videos, really interesting to watch...lots of talent out there! UTG!

Posh chairman is pretty high profile, think he likes the sound of his own voice and he's been on Sky quite a lot as a pundit/ guest talking about transfers etc. Much prefer Waels lower profile but McAnthonys done a good job for Posh, kept them up, kept them competitive, made them (or himself) a lot of money with his transfer policy. But he does love Twitter and it looks like he's a guy who wants to be the story rather than his team. I suspect DC won't have liked his tweet in the week telling everyone about our bid for players. Certainly not DCs way!

Lloyd Isgrove to Barnsley is another promising signing for them. They have done some astute business this summer and could have a good season.
