Moved up from at.merryn to Bristol many years ago with work etc but get back as often as possible, even Cornish rain is better than anywhere else.will be going to Kelantan I a few weeks for a week or so so will be sampling at.ives pasties to see if they are up to standard.made a trip to lands end in may,not been there for years,we bought a pastor each they were the most expensive I have bought and worst tasting shan't be going there again in a hurry You put a pair of boxing gloves on to type that, Padstow? Going to lovely Cornwall myself in a few weeks and looking forward to eating some 'proper' pasties - but not from Lands End !

Any chance this thread could be re-named Cornish pasty chat and put in general?

Mods - can you delete all this Cornish Pasty crap!!! Why?Especially when we have a trip to Plymouth to look forward to this coming season, topped off with one of Ivor Dewdneys top class pasty's from the van outside the ground. Go large, you won't regret it!

Sometimes I get all the letters in the right order I'm not usually one to stray dramatically off topic on here but due to the nature of this original post I'll make an exception and join this Cornwall love-in. (nothing else to talk about on here at the moment based on the first page of threads!) My rents live just outside Camelford so I have the pleasure of popping down most months and would say parking up at Daymer Bay, walking along the beach to Rock (Blue Tomato for a cake), ferry over to Padstow for a pasty at The Padstow Pasty Co (as opposed to the one next door which isn't quite as good), a round of Crazy Golf (if it's not shut down yet), couple of Doombar's at the Shipwrights and then back again is the best daytrip in the area! Trebarwith Strand and the Port William Inn is another beach worth visiting in that area, although in the school hol's it gets mental with bloody emmets!

Not very keen on Cornwall myself but admit pasties are good. To get back on thread, don't thing Wael & Family are selling up and certainly not moving to Cornwall either.

Mods please ban me. I can't take much more of this punishment.
That is highly unusual for me.

Leave Topper alone.
If it were not for him, this forum would be dead.
