Thought Jake had a good game. England were very skilful and must fancy their chances in the final on Sunday

He's back to his Millwall game best then. Sorry but I really don't remember his performance. What did he do or not do to get this comment please ?

Got bullied and looked a bit naive against the guile of Morrison I seem to recall. On reflection, I'd only give JC-S and Colkett a 6/10 for their time at Rovers. Both showed some excellent elements to their game, but both seemed as though they needed more time to adjust to "mens football". It just struck me that there was always a mistake in their game amongst the skill - something that is tolerated more in u21/u23 than the real game.

Shame as both Chelsea lads started ok but in the end I wouldn't have either back. I know what you mean but the undoubted talent they both have, plus an extra year's physical growth and the football experience they have gained might make them a rather different proposition this time around. We can only guess, but if DC saw fit to have JCS back I wouldn't be complaining. I think Colkett's bridge with us was probably burned.

I know he didn't have a good game against Millwall but he is still young and learning. He is highly rated by John Terry who despite being a knob knows a good player when he sees one and that's good enough for me to be happy to have him back on loan next season.

England U20's must now be hot favourites to win the World Cup on Sunday how good would that be to have a World Cup winner in the squad next season. Watching the match today the commentator said JCS was winning everything in the air and also looked impressive, so perhaps he will have what it takes to make it when he gets a bit older.

Think that we will ask for him back next season ..... fuller injury free season in L1 would do him well.
Hey we could have a World Cup Winner in the squad .... first time since Alan Ball I'm guessing ?

He's a sound lad and being part of the first England team to get to a World Cup Final since 1966 is some achievement. I think you are right in that he has the makings of a good player, but given the miniscule number of Chelsea youth players that actually make it through to their first team it depends where he gets his opportunity. Bear in mind that he is only 12 months younger than Ryan Sweeney, who no one can doubt is physically better equipped for EFL football.

Yeah, I wonder if that had anything to do with Dominic Solanke going to Liverpool. No, that is down purely to Solanke's ridiculous wage demands. Solanke was demanding 50k a week, after scoring a whopping 7 goals in the Dutch League. Liverpool are stupid enough to pay him that. Conte will play the youngsters, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Nathan Ake and Nathaniel Chalobah all picked up Premier League winners medals. Tammy Abraham and Clarke-salter will also be in the Chelsea first team soon, I've got no doubt about that. I would love to see Jake Clarke-Salter back at Rovers next year, but in all honesty can see him going to a Championship club to continue his development.

As for JCS, not sure why you are w**king over him. He wasn't great during his time with us. Sweeney any day over him for me and I also feel Sweeney suits us better.

He hasn't played one minute of a Premier League fixture yet. The likes of Tammy Abraham and Jake Clarke-Salter have, and they are more highly thought of at Chelsea than Solanke, they aren't demanding 50k a week. The likes of Marcus Rashford and Deli Alli who are full internationals and both have played over 50 first team games aren't even on 50k a week. If Liverpool are stupid enough to pay an unproven 18 year old without one Premier League appearance that much money, then so be it. Whose w**king over him?
