Cox is a typical young nothing ‘keeper on loan from Prem side, has no presence, is ok at most things, but excels at nothing. No idea why anybody would prefer him over Belshaw. Don't worry, once Joey has packed his bags, Belly will return as our No 1

I'm getting my best pointy finger ready 'cause someone is getting a good pointing at today, even if I'm not sure it's their fault, they're still getting a pointing at. The checkout girl in Tesco better watch out.
Baggins.... (pointing furiously) you scanned that twice and it's the wrong price. And JCH too. Eh, what have you got to say about JCH.
Checkout girl replies: ooo Baggins I love what you do with your finger

As a former resident of Downend Rd which is close to the ground I knew that the purchase price reflected in being close to the ground. I have lodged my support of the application on that basis.

Maybe a lucky goal but on chances we could have scored on several other chances. We matched the Spanish for a change and deserved the victory. Proud to be a Gashead and England supporter

The final of the European Under 21 championship will be shown live on Channel 4 this afternoon. For those who have been watching the championship on the useless UEFA App will have been impressed with the performances England have had up until now. Obviously Spain will be a huge challenge but I can see us winning this one. Unbeaten and no goals conceded so far

Got a feeling he’s gonna be one of those players who ends up playing about 10 games next season As long as he's in a promotion chasing side with a strong squad in depth, I'm sure he will be content with that sort of involvement

Wael on Instagram congrating Jennings on getting married with the extra caveat, “now sign some players”. Also a photo of himself, Joe and Tom G with caption “next season beware”. I guess that explains why Wael & JB are both in Italy, assuming they both were guests at EJ's wedding & it took place in Italy. Let's just hope EJ hasn't now been given a fortnight off by Wael for his honeymoon! He's also on a shopping trip to sign to sign some Seria A players

I find the reaction to any criticism of WAQ hilariously over the top. He owns a football club, has any owner of any club ever avoided criticism? Lansdown, over the river, gets pelters despite building them a stadium they own out of his own pocket. Abramovich used to get a wee bit of stick when Chelsea went bad, despite everything. WAQ seems remarkably thin skinned. The facts are, yes, he's put a load of cash in, some converted to capital, some not, and, without some sort of rich benefactor, as with 90% of the EFL, we'd have had some trouble in the COVID times. But then you have to remember that owners were protecting their own assets in these times. The training ground is all well and good, again. But the club loses money hand over fist, hasn't moved forward on the pitch in 7 years, and for all the excitement over a statement saying a drawing of a stadium may come soon, we're still at the Mem. From all accounts he's a nice guy and he cares, which is lovely, and he's doing an OK job, but the reaction on here and social media to any view that isn't gushing praise of the bloke is hilariously OTT. Anyone who says anything critical is immediately a better or not a proper fan. Didn't you get any easter eggs?

Good all round performance today, Belshaws kicking was a bit hit and miss but Finley ran off his injury in the second half that I thought would stop him, Ward, Hoole and big John impressed. I don’t get this Belshaw poor distribution thing at all. With the ball at his feet there isn’t a better goalkeeper in the division and consistently finds rovers players in difficult situations where most keepers at this level would either smash it out for a throw or not even come for it then find themselves in a 50/50 which would end up in a goal conceded half of the time. He’s a sweeper keeper who is an excellent shot stopper and had another fantastic game today. Belshaw was never the problem . The problems with our goals against were…. Coutts out of form Finley injured or out of form Rossiter injured Not replacing Taylor Gibson out injured a lot Playing too attacking when we should have seen games out with better game management. Starting games far too attacking particularly away and playing way too open with a high line without quick players at the back who could cover balls over the top/ through balls. All of these things contributed more to our poor goals against tally way more than Belshaws performances and that’s not just this season is it I mean we won promotion and he won player of the season last season when we were very open at the back and conceding loads of chances and that’s with Taylor and connelly forming a good partnership !! V Ipswich and Barnsley we set up how anyone in their right mind with a bit of tactical knowledge would do and we were fine and kept clean sheets. Belly was hung out to dry and I respect him even more than I did before because he’s bounced back and I don’t think he’s improved I think he’s the same old Belshaw but Barton’s realised it wasn’t Bekshaw that was the problem and sorted out the things that were the problem. At least he got there. Yep, exactly what I have thought throughout. Belly was not the problem

System and coaching letting us down. We will see if Barton sulks, as he did in the relegation season. It is very odd how no one is questioning his part in this I am

For me he lost the dressing room when he dropped Belly in the manner he did Do you think he just pinned the team up and didn't speak to Belly beforehand, these are professionals not a pub team,my expectation is no matter what they at the very least give 100 percent. Well they haven't today

This does not resemble, in any way, the team prior to the xmas, we are looking lost, without direction and it just feels like something is dreadfully wrong. I hope to be proved wrong but this is so poor that if we carry on like this, i fear a relegation dogfight and cannot see us winning a game. Has JB lost the players ? I just don’t get it For me he lost the dressing room when he dropped Belly in the manner he did
