My god. Everyone on here acting like TG is the only person at the football club. Just using the South Stand argument, I very much doubt he told WAQ and AAS that we are building the stand, it was likely the other way around. To me the "putting extension on the east stand" plan tells you a lot, the new owners are all about do things fast and cheap - that is what you all got with the South stand. Unfortunately the South Stand took longer to build and without permission to build in first place. More questions for the owners than TG. Again, a lot of you seem happy with bodge jobs, so expect the same of the East stand unless the club has learnt it's lesson. I think the reason we're accepting of the fast bodge jobs is that it marks a massive leap forward from the malaise offered by previous owners.

It's been forty years since we last had a decent ex Exeter manager.

Ah I see. I thought the term was one only used as a derogatory insult by the the six fingered ones South of the river. Nah, I use it because the bloke is totally useless normally. I'm surprised, he speaks very highly of you. Oh no that's right he's never met you so you've never had the opportunity to see how he reacts when you say it to his face🤣

"Important words from @waelalqadi @official_BRFC on why it’s in @premierleague interests to help @efl clubs with a proper ‘New Deal’…”We at Bristol Rovers gave Jarell Quansah and Elliot Anderson men’s football and both now are established top-flight players, with their respective clubs (#LFC and #NUFC). Surely their combined market value one day will be much more than the extra amount the Premier League are haggling over? “This season we took Harvey Vale on loan from #CFC and he has played the most amount of minutes than any Chelsea loanee so far this season, playing over 2,400 minutes for Bristol Rovers. We are developing Harvey and building up his physicality to a level where his body can withstand playing Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday fixtures at a consistent level and in a very competitive league, something which Under-21 football will never come close to providing. “Each club in the EFL has many loanees playing, learning and developing before returning as assets to their parent clubs. Maybe…we should discuss future development fees for our loan players when they are eventually sold by their parent clubs? I’m sure Mr. Boehly at Chelsea will have plans to sell Harvey for £40m+ after we have developed his game for them! The Premier League need the EFL, and the quicker they realise (and pay for) the added value we provide to them the better. They need to act decisively and quickly before it becomes too late for some clubs.” An actual reasonable statement from Wally! Who is Wally ?

Some of you will never learn. For how sh** they are doing. They are literally 10 years ahead of us(that's if we move fast and they stand still) The championship is arguably one of the best leagues in Europe too. I've never really got the marketing BS about the Championship being one of the best leagues in Europe. It still feels like the second division of a reasonable footballing country to me. It's exciting at times like "It's a knockout" used to be but not much more than that. I've watched a few games lately and the standard seems pretty average. Ive even watched a couple of the TEDs games with friends who supported the opposition and they've been deadly boring. The league is continually dominated by parachute payment teams, exactly how the premiership would have it. Other than that it's all very ordinary

The Ted's points earned per pound spent leaves them second bottom of all the teams in Europe over the last ten seasons.
Probably

Anyone here much of a follower of the Betting exchanges (Betfair) for football Seems like a lot more money being matched on our game tomorrow than any other in our league. Our odds on a win have been pushed out somewhat considerably.

I would think the remodeling of the East Stand and Terrace would have to incorporate safe standing. The current terrace is very low and we have two large dugouts impeding the view. I'm would hope the ugly stair structures could be removed from the terrace and remodeled at either end of the new stand

Full credit to him as must be very difficult to make a go of it without a preseason at his age. We used to have a Bruno. How about we nickname him Rocky? Christiano Martin is fine for now👍

Not really pertaining to these figures but an interesting stat I think. 51 teams have played in the Premier League and despite The Swamp dwellers best efforts they haven't. That's half a Billion £ spent in a failed attempt to do what over half the teams in the country have done Are the Ted's indeed, pound for pound spent, the biggest under achievers in European Football

No possibility that when Conygar realised that we were in a position to pump £3.50 into the project that they pulled the idea of a stadium then. There certainly were no other takers for a stadium on the site Not looking for an argument, CI did not see a stadium as viable. Wael knew of this and was bereft. He did try a last minute meeting, which got them to the final meeting. That is all. Onwards we go That was because we thought we could do it on the cheap. We were tens of millions off of the commitment required by the developers. I posted this within the first week of our new owners tenure.

Upon taking the helm, we quickly discovered that the developer involved in the previous stadium development plans at the fruit market site chose not to proceed further with the project I thought we pulled out as the deal wasnt right? So it was conygar that pulled the plug then?? At last. I did try to tell you guys but never mind. I am in no competition No possibility that when Conygar realised that we were in a position to pump £3.50 into the project that they pulled the idea of a stadium then. Both bristol clubs relegated that season from what I recall, sadly we finished bottom, not a good year, just a pity they never folded completely. Wasn't that 1980/81?

Obviously the club are waiting on The Authorities approval before putting Fleetwood South Stand tickets on sale. Hopefully nothing happened to give them any doubts about opening it to full capacity

Way back in 1958 when places like Walsall and Wolverhampton were in Staffordshire ,Wolves proposed a new stadium which never came to fruition. View AttachmentBlimey that's a stadium only a mother could love
