Just decided to read what's been said the last week or so, and a fundamental truth is being missed, ( quite understandable in the circumstances) no one has a clue about what is actually happening. None of you are correct in your assumptions, so I suggest instead of people saying they know what is going on, just wait. Oh, by the way, it's not a consortium, and when everything is done and dusted, much humble pie will need to be digested on here, especially by 1981. So, should we keep checking in for news today???

Can I screen mirror tonight’s game from my phone to smart tv? Hopefully this isn’t restricted like the bt sport app. I’ll be using the rovers official app on iphone to access ifollow. Last time I purchased to do just that, ended up watching on my phone as it didn’t work ☹️ That was last season

I disappear for a few days, I come back and see this thread is up to page 85! Here was I thinking 'wow what have I missed since page 35!! What juicy info is there now'. Well, for those like me who have some catching up to do, let me save you some considerable amount of time. After catching up the last 50 pages, I can confirm nothing else has actually happened. Just theories, claims from the usual so called ITKers who like to tell everyone they know all the facts and details but refuse to say anything. There. You are all caught up, without the headache I now have from reading so much BS. Don’t forget the 49 pages of people talking about how much easier/harder/quicker/longer their matchday commute by bus/car/foot/train would be compared to now, so hence the location is perfect/ridiculous and so won’t happen are BCC are totally pro/anti everything. 😅

Just thinking this over, from a business standpoint and possible reasons why this ‘delay’ may be a really good idea. We’ve just launched a very well received home shirt, that is a return to traditional quarters after last years design, and has nostalgic nods within it. Our supplier for whatever reason has not got enough shirts to us (or we under ordered) to meet the initial demand. I assume, that the volume of shirts we order from Macron would be greater for the home than the away. There are without doubt people waiting on the home shirt or even if it is in stock waiting for the first home match or two to be at the mem for the opportunity to purchase. If we were to release an away shirt which was equally well received, surely we run the risk of more substitute purchases of the away shirt thus potentially less home shirts. Whereas to satisfy the home demand first, then release in a week or two there may be more chance of secondary purchases of the away shirt? 🤷♂️ Either way, I don’t understand why people are getting so worked up over this, especially given prob 75% of posters in this thread will have no intention of buying one!

This mug is an awesome reference point for our kits throughout the years (now I've got the image working!) Anyone got any memory of the 1991-92 away shirt? Looks a beauty but I cannot find any other reference to it... I have one too, first Rovers shirt I owned.

Don’t see why so many are nibbling at this, literally a video funded by our rivals and those who we have failed/troubled business dealings with us. Was it funded by our rivals? I didn’t see that mentioned in the video credits, or did I miss something?

Southend unsponsored. So not going to be us Yeah shame, what a boring kit to go plain. But guess it’s always going to be a decision based on ££’s rather than aesthetics, as much as they try to say otherwise 🤷♂️

Personally I'd like to think we'll sign another striker, going into next season with the same set of players + a young loanee wouldn't be ideal. However, what I would say is that I have some sympathy with last year, I can't recall many occasions I came away from games thinking we'd missed a hatful of chances we simply didn't create them. We have to bring some creativity in regardless of whether we sign another striker or not it won't matter who plays up top if we don't create chances. We can't rely on JCH coming up with goals out of nothing. IMO I'd like another striker but think a priority has to be creativity. I agree with your point. I genuinely think the strikers we have could all score more with some decent wingers whipping in low crosses, or creativity in the middle allowing them to play on the shoulder of the opposition CBs. Nichols definitely needs it due to being fairly lightweight, and Gavin Reilly is a poacher too. Looks like the young lad from Sheff Utd might be in the same sort of situation too, especially playing in a physical league like League One. They all require good delivery if we’re not going to rely solely on JCH all season. Personally i’d have Deon Moore as a backup big striker and let him play some first team games and see what happens. Heard from a Coventry fan that there is a rumour up there that they are in for Moore too.

Would be the logical explanation for a press conference - to announce new sponsorship deals. But na it’s a takeover/new stadium or similar ofcourse!

So, in traditional Gaschat style, I’ll be the first to say it today, Those who know about this press conference, can you tell us what else you know/heard around this, rather than just the typical trickle of info...please?

If so, will not be much work getting done tomorrow by gaschatters...apart from pressing F5 on this thread all day and lots of wondering why nothing has happened (kinda hope I’m proved wrong!)

A few posts have mentioned the travel to Donny as a reason for the heavy legs/ slow start - I passed the coach near Gloucester before 10am, so there was time for them to chill and prepare - it wasn’t like it was badly planned and they just rocked up at the ground straight off the motorway at 7pm!
I was more concerned that in the pre match interview there was talk about expecting to spend long periods without the ball, and defending. I think this translated into the way we stood off and let them control the first half in particular, rather than getting stuck in and ready to battle as we have done in recent matches

Whether their actively looking to sell is up for debate! I personally think they are as theres no evidence of investment.. Somebody financed Agogo's and JCH's deals? Until the ALQ's either announce plans for a new ground or announce we've been sold it's impossible to know what they intend doing, as they are clearly not going to waste their own money on the Mem. Wasn’t Agogo financed by the share scheme when he signed from Barnet?! 😉
