I was there with my 11 year old son. Because we had to sit in our allocated seats we were 2 rows from the front and next to the netting separating the 2 sets of fans. All was well until a couple of dozen blokes who had been on the lash on the concourse came in and filled all the available seats. They immediately began baiting the Oxford fans, some of whom responded. There then followed a series of ever more improbable threats to and fro across the netting. Ollie then scored and it went mental with our mob surging towards the net. A woman sitting in front of me got knocked to the ground and injured her knee. She was in some serious pain and crying. The venom between the 2 sets of fans increased, and fearing for my lad I yelled down to a steward I wanted to move. To be fair to them they recognised the problem and moved us to a small standing area the other side of the gangway. To be fair to the fans next to us they could see I wanted to get my lad away and they stood out of the way to let us pass. When in he standing area I saw the woman being taken away in a wheelchair. If you're reading this love, I hope you're OK. The Police then turned up and started videoing the rowdy fans and that calmed them down, because it had been getting pretty tense and frightening. As we all know, Rovers played an absolute blinder. I was impressed with James, who seemed to be playing up front on his own. He ran and battled all the time he was on, and on another day could well have scored. When the game ended I tried to walk back behind the North stand the way we came in, to use a footpath to get to the main road and bus stops. A f uckwit steward wouldn't let us through because the Oxford fans would be going that way. We had to walk round 3 sides of the ground, through and against hundreds of Oxford fans to get to where we started. There were no Oxford there and we had the footpath to ourselves. And it was pi55ing with rain. Sometimes I wonder if some of these people have the brains they were born with. Have to agree with most of this as I must have been sat not far behind you. Also afterwards there were punches thrown in hollywood bowl and kids and families running out crying. As I said after Port Vale, it is about time we looked at our own fanbase. I agree.. I took my 10 year old daughter and we had our fair share of hammered idiots around us..not even watching the game and just throwing their arms around and shouting random swear words and all laughing about it('men in there 40's/50's)then there's lads that look 15 puffing out their pidgeon chests making throats slicing gestures to the home fans...their all so-called fans but not even watching the game!!! Looking at them makes it hard to sing along to "proud to be a gashead"

As billy bob is back on top again we need a better song than bodin's on fire! In my opinion and it only murmurs when he scores... As the snake has slivered off we only have Rory's song for the players apart from Danny Danny Danny leadbitter boring number!
How about something like the yaya song but billy bodin instead...

So everyone saying he's failed in the past..vardy failed at Sheffield Wednesday it he hasn't done too bad...miller scores a hatrick yesterday and is on fire..we create a lot of chances but don't have a cf that has the instinct to get in there so to me if there's a real chance of signing him we should be up for it...there's not many league one clubs with our small budget so we would be the only league one options to him and I'm sure he would want to play at the highest level he could... Match report... Ricky Miller's fourth hat-trick of the season earned Dover a comfortable victory over Eastleigh. Miller side-footed the hosts into a third-minute lead after a good save from Ryan Clarke and from there Dover were always in control. Eastleigh, under new caretaker boss Richard Hill, threatened sporadically, but Miller put the result beyond doubt with his second of the afternoon after 71 minutes. The 27-year-old took his tally for the season to 32 goals eight minutes later to extend Dover's unbeaten run to four games, while Eastleigh have now gone eight league matches without a win.

Is the £100k figure for Partington right? Was there ever actually confirmation of this or is it a bit of guesswork on your part. Also, does anyone have any idea if we did actually pay a fee for Burn? (and if so how much?) I know it's just the modern game but I do get frustrated when we don't get to find out transfer fees. Not for the same reason as some who want us to spend a fortune on players all the time. I would love to find out we got Burn on a free and only paid about £20k for Partington. UTG! We paid at least 80k for Partington as Eastleigh announced it as their record transfer which I believe was 80k before, I'm sure someone will confirm? I agree with you that it is frustrating not knowing the actual fees involved? Especially with what happened with sh** snake! I'm under the impression it was £80,000 with another £20,000 after so many performances

...what do you think; To the tune of "F**k off Swindon Town, You are staying down....." "F**k off Matty Taylor, You're no f**king saviour, The sh** are going down, down, down, The sh** are going down, down, down.... I said, f**k off Matty Taylor, You're no f**king saviour, The sh** are going, down, down, down, The sh** are going, down, down, down" And repeat... It's a big fat no from me...

He has to be worth spending the money from taylor(£300,000) on him? You've only got to watch him and he's a natural goal scorer with free kicks in his locker...his movement is second to none and his stats are all there to be seen..I know he's non league but we all know that doesn't mean anything these days... Why spend £300k on a player who is out of contract in the summer? Even if he was under contract, I wouldn't say signing a 28 year old no league striker unproven in the league was worth the £300k gamble. On a free however, he seems a bit of a no brainer, as long as the wages are reasonable. I rated him in the conference for Dover against us and would like to see him here at the right price. All I meant is if it took £300,000 we should be looking at it! If partington in worth £100,000 miller must be worth 3 times that and that's all We couldn't afford division 1 strikers,if a player in division 2 is proven we can all see we still couldn't afford them..roofe/bogle etc So non league on our current budget is a must for permanent signing rather than loan signings which is never great for a consistent push for promotion...if we could get him on a free I'm sure his signing on fee would be a lot of money anyway

That's the horrible side of football...there is no loyalty and realism in football at all anymore...it's all stemmed from the premiership down and what money does to everything...also makes me laugh hearing people moaning about China and how ridiculous it is??? Their doing exactly what chelsea/man city and every other club has done to other clubs and players..chucked money at them and their come over!!

Not until the summer for next season. They wait until they have reviewed their pricing for next season. So there may be a slight price hike in the summer. Still good value though. Just keep watching on here for the date season tickets become available. Thanks to all...
