What a let down, Ryan Jones from W-S-M Another ridiculous post! This is a little risk, potential big gain signing, and we'll obviously see more next season and beyond. 'ark at you.

Crazy. At least now we've freed up some cash to pay Ben Liddle's five and a half grand a week. You mock but Garner’s been given phenomenal backing this window. Whatever youth team player he’s asked for, he’s got. No excuses for him now, he’s been given the tools to deliver success. Yeah, you might have pointed that out once or twice!!

I don’t hate him and it wasn’t a private conversation it was said in front of 5 of us at the radio Bristol event at Ashton gate (1 of those people is a Mod on here) he’s a decent bloke I’m sure and I loved him from 2014-2017 but for me I went off him towards the end, as I’ve said previously I hope he turns it around at Walsall and is a success Wait for it, more HEARSAY 😂👏🏻 🚨🚨🚨🚨 Banned word Forum Police will have you in for questioning for this!!! And you are about to get “can’t we move on now from this” and I’m happy to reply for you, don’t read it then, don’t post on it and feck off🚨 I wish you'd feck off you boring Banned word!

I'll be attending as many games as I can when I'm back home, and completely agree GC and the players deserve more credit and more support. I've not been guilty of going less, because I can't get to as many games as I'd like anyway, but nevertheless I could have made more of an effort and after hearing GC in this post-match interview I feel like I owe it to him and the players. GC was always onto a downer with many fans from the off, myself included, because I was so upset at how it all ended with DC. DC was and possibly always will be my favourite ever Gas manager. Not just for the success he brought us but the manner with which he bought into being one of us, and engaged with the fans. GC no matter how well he did last season and so far this season, just doesn't have that same connection with the fans that Darrell did. However there can be no arguing that GC is still a likeable bloke and it's only by direct comparison that I and many others haven't taken to him. If GC had taken over from Buckle/Atkins/McGhee etc, then I'm sure he'd garner far more love and support from the majority of Gasheads. Before DC we were starved of not only ability on the pitch but also heart, passion and pride on the pitch. DC resurrected that and GC has kept it going in spades, and that used to be all we ever asked for as Gasheads. We're getting it now, and still for many it doesn't seem to be enough. Well, I for one will now try to wholeheartedly support GC and the players, as there's absolutely no reason not to. They're battlers and they've done everything asked of them and more in terms of their progression since last winter, and for that we owe them a lot. Quality post!

I am with Singupgas on this, think its the off field situation that most missing people are disenchanted with not the efforts of GC and the team. if like me you are long in the tooth, you are used to false dawns and take every new 'master plan' of futurama with a big pinch of salt, that said even I was sold on the UWE thing! but the modern day fan tends to mirror society and very much want 'it' now and if its not available they move on to something else, but I am a supporter of Bristol Rovers and will for ever be so no matter what, have had a few low moments in that time but that only makes those days in the sun that much better, I would not mind betting that our 3-1 win yesterday meant more to us than Man City's 8-0 meant to them. this latest, goodness knows how many pages on the fruit market thing just adds fuel to the fire of expectation among some fans and could well turn out to be the latest in a long road to nowhere and more disenchantment, me ? well I just accept where we are ,enjoy our victories and quickly turn the page after a loss, best not to speculate on the 'what ifs' ,don't really expect anything to change and who knows might just get a very pleasant surprise some day!!! up the Rovers! Amen to that. Well said.

I think we're living in dreamland if we think we're popular. The only clubs who like us are above our level and see is as plucky little underdogs who play in a quaint museum piece of a stadium. Our rival clubs at this level have no love for us at all. And I also don't think that the Teds are hated by all. Maybe by Cardiff and Swansea because they are localish rivals who compete at their level. But most Championship and definitely Premier League sides couldn't give a toss about them either way. For all the millions the Duke has spent, they are nowhere on the radar. The occasional foray towards the playoffs hasn't raised their profile at all, apart from within Bristol and surrounding areas. They're seen as a nothing club in the Championship. They have virtually no national media coverage, and no-one could care less about them, let alone hate them. Wrong, try again.

The most refreshing thing for me under GC is just how solid and more streetwise we seem. We more often than not will compete even in defeat. Do feel for him a bit listening to his post match interview today, saying "I might not be everyones cup of tea". Obviously aware of the falling attendances and that he may be a part of why they have dropped. It's good to see that if we go behind we have the resilience to come back into a game unlike last season when our heads went down and we seemed to give up. I know we're not playing scincilating football under GC at the moment but it's so much better than what we had to watch last season. We've got a decent squad imo and were scoring goals and getting results, what's not to like?! We've also still got THD who may come back into things at some point. If we can keep the momentum going the players will hopeful get more confidence and play with more freedom which might lead to better quality football. I like GC, I think he's an excellent man manager and he's building team spirit and a winning mentality with this squad, you can see that they really care and want to work hard for GC and each other. I'm thankful for what we've got as it could be a lot worse and hoping for better going forward. UTG! Yes Yes Yes What he said ^

If Matt Taylor was a Championship player Lickle Lee would have had him in the squad and played him more often so it proves the point they only bought him to halt our progress and take the spotlight off of LJ and fair play to em it worked!! Doesn't make sense

Can't believe people still take know(fack)all serious!!!
You are entitled to your view of course and that is surely the point of a forum - but to be clear I base my view on the facts that I know - and believe that most Gas supporters will be happy in the not too distant future and I have consistently suggested that supporters 'wait and see'. The easiest stance on any subject is to be negative, as you seem to be, so I would ask you - what do you think the future is for BRFC? immediate and long term? This bit in bold confuses me. Surely, if good news, all Gas fans would be happy.

Pathetic excuse for a footballer who will be playing in the Championship next season With support like that, no wonder he wants to leave Players like him is amazing I bother. Well at least 1 of us turns up every week. I'm guessing you've been made to work this weekend?
