Don't really like pre-season friendlies but I'm tempted to go to this. How many of them and us will be there, do we think? Might not be too exciting if there's only about 400 there. Attendance confirmed as 1102

"Few Premier League teams, largely looking to loan players out. Most attendees from smaller to middle-sized leagues. Interesting concept."
Strange the BEP journalists now write articles in note form.
Interesting concept indeed.

Surely it makes sense for Rollin and Kilgour to go to League 2 clubs on loan for next 12 months. Both have potential but could do with a full season of football league under their belts before being thrown in at deep end. Lots of local clubs they could head to while we keep an eye on them...Forest Green, Newport, Cheltenham, Swindon.

Genuinely the greatest domestic competition in Britain right now, Sutton United playing away in Dublin at Bohemians to try and progress in a Scottish lower league competition is outstanding. If the knocked the Colt teams in the head, it's near perfect. Strange competition, but great all the same. This year's non-Scottish clubs are : Solihull Moors, Wrexham, Ballymena United, Glenavon, The New Saints, Connah's Quay Nomads, Bohemians, Waterford

Joey B has had a borderline obsessive dislike of Chris Lines ever since his first spell with the club on the old forum. It's a bit odd! He was overrated then as well Serious question - when was the last game you saw Chris Lines dominate the midfield in any game I'm not using this as an example of a dominant performance, but did you see his pass v Bradford? Do you not agree we were missing that kind of passing at times last season?

English Football League 31 May. Mason Bloomfield [Norwich - Crawley] Loan Adam Crookes [Nottingham Forest - Port Vale] Free Sam Hornby [Port Vale - Bradford] Free Matt Mills [Pune City - Forest Green] Free Ashley Nadesan [Fleetwood - Crawley] Free Richie Towell [Brighton - Salford] Free Daniel Udoh [AFC Telford - Shrewsbury] Undisclosed Towell's that lad DC was after isn't it. Likely on a wedge now at Salford.

One of my first holiday jobs as a lad was working shifts on that site when it was a BRS parcel depot. Had to walk past the old 'glue factory', never known a stench like it. Easy walk for away fans coming into Temple Meads, and the cafe on the Paintworks could benefit. Thunderbolt could become a home fans pub! Short walk to Avon Meads and Showcase cinemas. Don't believe it for one moment though! Also walking distance to pubs in Redcliff and Old Market, plus the Barley Mow. Also lots of breweries in St Phillips which open on Saturdays

All three top lads who will be missed on, and just as importantly, off the pitch.

Was at the game today and we looked far inferior to Coventry today, we need to stay up and have a massive clear out. James Clarke is stealing a living there left back had him on toast Voted MOM, made at least three key challenges, important part of a back four which kept another clean sheet. Stealing a living is very harsh.

Not usually one for players returning but Monty seems to be in good form up at Port Vale.
Hope we're looking to bring back Ellis and I wouldn't be against Reuben Reid.

Very v sad news. As others have said he was a shining light in a very poor era. Remember the early days when he looked a raw prospect, who grew and grew as he got more comfortable in the quarters. Fond memories. RIP
