we did but Wimbledon were pretty poor, we gave them far too many chances that a half decent team would have punished. Considering our Away form I'll take a 1-0 over a good performance win all day long regardless of form will always take that.

If we play like we did yesterday the play offs will be over long before Millwall visit. Didn't we win?!? we did but Wimbledon were pretty poor, we gave them far too many chances that a half decent team would have punished.

Sadly upon further inspection the quality of the content has somehow managed to get worse. All they seem to do is promote this new "only in Bristol" version of geordie shore which will no doubt be an embarrassment if anyone actually watches it. Other regular highlights include "what carol vordaman is up to" and the cringeworthy sarcastic "10 reasons Bristol is a terrible place to live" stories. Walked past the ep building the other day and based on all the other companies now based there it looks like there may be up to 10 people actually working on the paper now, so maybe that's why it is essentially just retweeting stuff and classing it as news. Not long for this world I think.

The annual Blackpool outing is back this weekend so there will be a coach load of cross dressing pensioners in the away end on Saturday. That brings back memories I went on that trip must be 10 years ago now? The B & B was a bit naff but we had a great w/end though, We lost 2 - 0 to Rochdale that was the only dampener on the w/end. Enjoy! Indeed I was at that one as well, the hotel is much nicer these days and it's always a good laugh although 1 weekend of Blackpool is enough! Paul and Janet put on a great trip every year.

What's all the nonsense about Rovers being a PLC with hundreds of thousands of shareholders when we're only a LTD company with a few hundred shareholders, does he have a clue what's going on at the club, or even back in Jordan. The final insult is to say fans shouldn't ask for daily updates, when we haven't had one single update for months. As far as the training pitches for f sake it's Coalpit Health youth club not some decent senior club, give them a £1,000 pay off and they'll find a new game for next weekend. Think he said private ltd company which we are, the hundreds of thousands of share holders was referring to the fans. The point he was making is that this is a deal between a private business and a large institution and that these transactions have to be negotiated in private. It is impossible (and would be hugely unprofessional) to give detailed public updates until a deal is agreed. The final insult? Do you remember how things were under the last regime? As for the training ground comment, I am glad we are respecting the needs of the existing users of the facilities, a little good will goes a long way. They took over the club less than a year ago, some people being on their backs over the time taken since then to renegotiate of a £40m project that will likely mark one of the single biggest points in our 133 year history is embarrassing but sadly predictable.

There's something about Hamer I'm just not keen on and never have been. Doesn't strike me as 100% genuine and I hope he is not proven to be shown as full of hot air. He doesn't seem like a football man as he is clearly from a better background than most fans. Hamer is a typical old school business man but boy would I rather have him at my club than elsewhere. We've had enough people on the cheap, I doubt Hamer is cheap. Might not be from a 2 up 2 down in speedwell but he's heavyweight and much better than anything we have had in this capacity in my living memory. Didn't he play when he was younger?

For me if mildenhall was fit he would be playing now, Roos clearly doesn't have the trust of his defence. But for a mind blowing decision from the ref he would have been sent off and given away a pen in the first half today. Not good enough for me and I hope we buy an experienced keeper in January.

Great idea and I'm sure he would appreciate it. Only thing is I'm not sure we are likely to find out the age she passed away at. Some people just like to grieve in private though, not really sure banners etc are appropriate when you've lost one of your parents, probably the best thing is a standing ovation before the game when DC makes his way to the dug outs? Totally agree, I have no doubt the suggestions above are well-Intended but for me banners or minutes applause risk making a private thing much more public than Daryl and his family may want.

Can't believe how precious everyone seems to have got about this, he went down after taking a very heavy hit, I was surprised he was able to continue. The ref quite rightly stopped it due to a head injury and the blackthorn end lost it's sh** straight away, embarrassing. Glad he got up from it and a wink and finger on the lips is hardly a crime. After the sh** he got don't blame him.

Deserved win against a really poor team. Clear handball and sending off for their keeper missed by the useless ref and lino in the first half. would have been a yellow I think, also he gave a free kick to us for what seemed to be a blatant dive by lines who was on a yellow at the time, think we hand balled in the buildup to the winner as well so no complaints about the ref from me!

Yet again Steve Hamer was conspicuous by his absence. He was in his office all day but didn't seem to want to be involved with the fans yet again. Assuming he was in his office working and not playing solitaire I think most would be happy with this, we have heard more from this chairman than any other I can recall so not going to complain.
