Sorry can't agree re Leadbetter - regardless of the fact he's returning from long term injury - his end product remains the same and his attitude in the 2nd half v Southend was unforgivable in my mind. Someone who isn't interested. Given Plymuff were allegedly prepared to offer him a contract I gave him the benefit of any doubt! Although I did overlook Sercombe earlier. It's socking really we've basically got a squad of Div 2 players, when this is now our 3rd season in Div 1. As far as Bennett he looks the part but like Leads there's no real end product. Although perhaps down to the fact our present 1st choice strikers seem to have forgotten they are supposed to score goals. There's no end product from anyone at the moment! Bennett has only been with us since Jan and he has scored 3 goals in that time which is something I hope he can build on.....starting today hopefully.

I have and I like him. Faded a bit but seems to deserve a place in the team. We miss Lines. Sometimes you only realise what you've got when it's not there! It seems likely DC's trying to force Lines out given he's hardly started this season even before his ban. For me he's the only CM with any attacking flare at the club. I don't buy that, I think he wanted to try out his new midfield players in the first few fixtures to see how they would perform. Lines is an extremely important player for us and I see no evidence that DC is trying to force him out, also why would he do that just after the transfer window has closed and the new season has started? Makes no sense to me.

It does seem as if Midland has something personal against DC. Not being funny but I struggle to remember anything positive he has ever posted about BRFC. Everything is negative and all issues seem to lead back to DC. So here's a challenge for you Midland, can you name 3 things that you feel are positive about the gas right now - without going back in history. 1 the beard will be fit again to play soon a big boost 2 the majority of hard core fans still turn up come what may 12th man 3 hopefully the new signings will settle in quickly and get game time Thanks Midland, some good positive points you have made there. Any chance we could have some more of that in future? Not saying you can't engage in your DC bashing (if you really must, it is a forum after all and you are of course entitled to air your opinions) but this does provide some welcome balance to the anti DC rhetoric you usually constantly promote which is very one dimensional and a little tiring for the majority who still support DC.

It's not about how big we are its not about money its about performance and results Give it a rest your like a broken record it’s getting boring the way you go on is like you caught dc in bed with your missus. Ye were not playing well or getting results but we’ve had these spells and got through them before. You just remind me of some of the melts on aftv with their Wenger out antics. Let’s hope Matthews is back very soon, because from what I’ve seen he takes the best corners. I've also been very impressed with him on corners, he fizzes them in nice and fast and also low, Lines corners are always very predictable lofty balls that allow the opposition defenders plenty of time to get their heads to. With Sercs now injured we really need Matthews back. It's early days for him I know but he could be a worthy Bodin replacement imo.

The title had me confused, I thought it was a DC bashing thread until I clicked on it and realised you are saying otherwise. I know, but I'm only asking why was it changed for no reason? Not sure but there was a mod post above saying the video existed on several threads so maybe they wanted peeps to know this before they clicked on it?

Who’s captaining then? When was the last time JC played LB? Good for him, he’s done well and nice to see him get a chance at his natural position OC will be captain I would imagine.

Gas win please. Don't care how it comes, who scores the goals. Just a win to shut the moaners up for at least a week, or 2/3 days if we lose at QPR.

If any of you cared to listen to the Gorringe interview at the top of the main forum you’d have heard a pretty frank overview of where we are making progress. Some of you want players without the other parts. That’s like building a city full of beautiful buildings, but ah we forgot to put the roads in first. Nobody can get to work; those buildings aren’t efficient. The infrastructure of this club is 20-30 years out of date compared to where we want to be and where most of those moaning expect us to be. Do any of you seriously believe that DC is not looking for top quality players? Or perhaps they look at what we can offer them and see poor training facilities and a fanbase that spend most of their time arguing about sausage rolls and a £4 pint (despite Bristol having an average pint price above this)! Don’t see why there is a massive problem with the club sorting out the issues that have manifested for YEARS and try to make us commercially viable BEFORE we push on. Exactly, the problem is a contingent of fans being so impatient with lack of immediate progress under the new owners that all they can do is moan and create a negative atmosphere on here about the club and or future. Why? What will it achieve? Nothing! I for one am getting pretty sick of it, I used to come on the forum to feel excited about everything BRFC and these days most of the time I come away feeling down and slightly depressed about the state of the fan base. Improving BRFC is a massive undertaking, it's not going to happen overnight, this could be a 10 year slog. It's not fair to keep constantly moaning and criticising out owners, manager and the wider club who are trying their very best to move it forward. Why can't we just get behind them all and do what we're supposed to do..... Be supporters!!! UTG!
