Christian Doidge and Billy Kee would be ideal in my opinion not my first choice my any means. but I would say this is our price range and what we could afford and both score goals for fun.

If it was possible I would like to see BB replaced with the Cheltenham Town lad Mo Eisa absolutely outstanding player. But probably out of our price range!! And I doubt Johnson would want to sell to us.

After watching posh give us a tanning and nearly clinching a draw or defeat from the jaws of victory at Bury, I think we have some concerns to be addressed. Hopefully we will sort it but we certainly have room for improvement if the intent to be top six is to be realised Of course there's always room for improvement for any side in the world, but our budget isn't bottomless and DC obviously didn't find something out there that he thought was a good deal. Peterborough gave us a good tonking admittedly but I think that was just an off day for us and a good day for them. Bear in mind as well that they have won 4 out of 4 so far and scored 12 goals in the process. We also gave Fleetwood a drubbing after they had previously won 3 out of 3 and not conceded a single goal. So far we've played 3 out of the top 5 teams in the league and it wouldn't surprise me if those 3 teams as well as Bury were in and around the top 6 come the end of the season. I can understand a very minor concern about the first 2 fixtures, but I think there is a lot more to be encouraged about than discouraged at the minute. like nottsgas said Peterborough have pretty much smashed everyone this season sometimes you have just got to accept that some teams will be better then us. I think we learnt a lot from that game if your not at the races then teams like Peterborough will tear us a new one and to be fair since then we have upped our game and haven't lost. As for the Bury game I think we were to comfortable with our lead and we let them in at the end thinking we had already won it but again a good lesson to be learnt. All I was saying is I think there is a lot more to look forward to then be negative about going forward. UTG

Some people make me laugh. So what if we signed no one! our second team just smashed Wycombe I'm more then happy with what we got!!! And for the ones that feel we haven't got cover in certain positions Darrell is very good at switching formations and working with what we got I trust him and so should the ones that P1ss and moan 2 promotions in 3 but apparently we know better!!!

Absolutely sh*te. You dont mind losing against the better team. But when you play against 10 men for basically 90 minutes and put in a performance like that it is unacceptable. Ellis and Broom just not good enough, I would seriously consider dropping Brown(He's been a loyal servent) but his final ball and crossing is awful. Hopefully the new lad from Stoke will hit the ground running. It might just be a knee jerk reaction, we're always sh*t on the opening day aren't we? But that was dire. I agree, knee jerk reaction! Away from home against a bogey team with a decent squad. I watched on ifollow and yea we lacked ideas but Charlton put every man behind the ball second half we didn't have the creativity to break them down. I thought Ellis worked hard when he was on and Gaffney didn't do any better when he came on so why is Ellis not good enough? Broom did okay too without anything spectacular. Bodin and O.Clarke were both poor today but haven't seen many mentions about them.. We need a left winger with pace to give us a different dimension but DC has already said he wants a winger so no doubt we'll see someone coming in by the 31st. 45 games to go and still confident we can be challenging the top 6 come May I'm a bit confused by this ifollow can we watch the game if we live in the uk or is it for just people abroad??

Haven't seen him play so it's hard to really pass judgement ... Good luck Tom. I think after DCs public outburst about the club over performing year after year and his needs to have a top six budget I expected way higher, known Championship and maybe even Premiership players coming in. I know that doesn't guarantee success far from it but I have been surprised at the players on DCs wanted list so far ... mainly L1, a L2, an exciting Prospect from the Premiership and a lad in one of the most crucial positions from tier seven ? Of the football pyramid. I'm relatively pleased but absolutely no wow factor for me yet or big budget of intention or envy from any of our L1 rivals that's for sure. Still time for some VavaVoom DC ... I hope you have a marquee Striker up your sleeve and still think we need an experienced Central defender ... sadly don't see Ryan coming back to us. This isn't Football manager of FIFA this is real life you need a reality check when it comes to transfer dealings I think!!!

I'm not panicking on the transfer front at all because I have total faith in DC. But with only 3 players signed so far have we missed out on our 1'2'3 targets???

Lamberts deal to Plymouth is dead in the water apparently it wasn't even an option. I would love him at the gas but I think Blackburn will be his next destination.

My Uncle was at Bristol Rovers as a youngster and unluckily broke his leg. And after coming round from his op he found a certain Ray Graydon in his room asking to borrow his boots because he'd lost his and couldn't afford a new pair so my uncle to this day thinks if wasn't for him Ray Graydon may of never made it at Rovers LOL

I wouldn't mind seeing Obika and Ajose at the Gas if financially possible both did very well second half of the season for Swindon even though they got relegated if they were available I would have a punt on them. I know Ajose is contracted to Charlton but seems surplus to requirements at them. Nice one Irene and welcome. By the way you're not supposed to like your own posts lol! Lol was an accident
