Absolutely and that’s the difference between a message based on ending racism and one on black lives mattering, because a hell of a lot of black lives are collateral damage just to give us the things we take for granted on a daily basis. BLM message is to end racism though? Les Ferdinands statement is that he is weary and has seen gestures come and go. Fair enough. No one has come up with a viable plan to deal with racism other than gestures have they? because liberals don't care too much. If the people deemed at the bottom of the class ladder are stepping up, are the liberals going to make way. We don't see the conservative right dealing with racism (quite the opposite), don't see the liberals dealing with it. That only leaves the left wether people like it or not.So what are they doing about it ?

It was a f**k YOU to the Millwall fans. That's why they did it And they’ll go home telling all their mates about how they stuck it to Millwall fans in the name of black lives via WhatsApp on their mobile phones, meanwhile a black person is being shot in the DR Congo in a civil war over natural resources used to build mobile phones for those in the West to use to pontificate about how much black lives matter to them. Rinse and repeat. Couldn't have put it better, this will always be something that winds me up people jump on an american trend ,which in the grand scheme of things means absolutely f**k all over here ,except make some feel as if they have done something to make the world a better place) ,lets face it what does it achieve ,so tell me how many lives have you saved by kneeling down ,oh hang on you don't take the knee you let the players on the pitch do it on your behalf ,but you feel so much better about yourselves without getting your precious clothes dirty by kneeling on a filthy piece of concrete hmmm. Then ignore nations where black people are being killed every day of the year ,ignoring other black countries where everyday people are being murdered in the name of religion. Why are they not asking the government to send back refugees who took part in killings ,rape and torture in their own countries , then seek sanctuary here because the tide has turned ,could it be that it's too much hassle for them ,so they instead say well i agree with taking the knee so therefore I'm not racist. Oh and before i get called a racist, just remember we all eat ,bleed sh** n water the same also remember that there is only one race on this earth and that's the human race ,some of us don't need to keep harping on about how if your skin in a different colour the you must be from a different race, odd when you think about it.

Quick question on that data, are the same amount of beds used in the 2015 sample and the 2020 sample, correct me if I'm wrong but i suspect not all corona sufferers will be in an icu bed, that will have a massive impact on figures as will people not being admitted into hospital as they have to recover at home. I feel the reason people don't believe the virus is real is for the simple fact, that the media are no longer reporting on it 24/7 like they did when the first lockdown was announced. I know some who thought it was a hoax to now believe it as a fried of theirs got it. However i believe this virus was man made and got out into the public but reacted very differently to what it was supposed to, before you dismiss the ideal remember several countries have had chemical weapons accidently realeased some intentionally released.

Let's forget this or that theoretical model for predicting the outcome. Let's ask the NHS. Are you becoming overloaded and how do we stop that? Englebert Humperdinck from Germany can sit down and shut the f**k up. Only four trusts in all of England were busier on average during the week ending November 22 than they were last December and most of the country's Nightingale hospitals have never treated a single patient. Dr Karol Sikora, of the University of Buckingham, accused the government of running a "brainwashing PR campaign" and using "data which doesn't stack up." "We've gone back to how it started in March, with [the Government] claiming we need the measures to protect the NHS. The data you've shown me proves that it doesn't need protecting. It's dealing with Covid very well indeed." "What the data shows is that hospitals are not working at full capacity and they've still got some spare beds for Covid if necessary. The public is being misled, the data doesn't stack up. Fear and scaremongering is being used to keep people out of hospital." Pirate not having a dig but have you read this and the virus thread, as there several posters who have lost relatives to corona and a few are currently suffering from it. That's better proof than a few web pages

I’m not a member but yes I’m pro European and against Brexit . There was a reason why I blocked you on Twitter because I don’t want to engage with sad little racists like yourself . Ha ha there you go again.....different opinions and views = racist.....when will you lefties ever learn? Funny that you would have been happy to see a proven anti Semitic party take charge of the country, but guess racism doesn’t count when it relates to Jewish people! so i spose christians, catholics, muslims,jw's and many more are not religions they are a race, why do people find it so difficult to understand rligion and race are two seperate things

Definitely something true in the fact that gov are rolling out mass tests that are giving numerous false positives. The mass testing, tracing & isolating is crucial but there are reports of it being poorly handled, no suprises really. www.bmj.com/content/371/bmj.m4436BMJ say - An unevaluated, underdesigned, and costly mess Had a message earlier, the son of a friend of mine had a track and trace notification to say his isolation notice has expired as his test has come back negative. Problem is, he never even had a test. World beating my arse. Stu just because he don't remember taking the test it doesn't mean he hasn't, he may have been given the test by an elite team of medical people ,who stealthily broke in to his house and swabbed him in his sleep.

Raise a glass to all those we lost this year, stand in the blackthorn again proud that we still can. Sing till i lose me voice, get battered about by the crowd in pain but happy as fook that we are back. Remortgage the planet too get at a half time meal deal. Spend the second half getting more pain but feel it's justified as i bought the meal deal without being coerced by any one else(apart from my stomach, but it's already being punished, by a pasty even harder than a rock cake coated in titanium).
Meander back home thinking why the feck did i put myself through that knowing it will be done again and again
Casnt feckin wait

You’re quite right, it’s not the kids fault. It’s the fault of a system that allows feckless people to have kids, safe in the knowledge they will be given benefits which they are free to spend on whatever they like, with no compulsion to look after their children first. I just can’t understand how anyone could indulge themselves without first seeing their children were properly fed. I also agree with your thoughts on subsidised H of C restaurants. What I find even more incredible is that you don’t hear of one single Labour, Lib Dem or SNP politician refusing to avail themselves of the concession, or agitating for it to be removed. In exactly the same way as you never hear the bastards refuse their annual pay rise or pay into their pension scheme. And that, for a Socialist, is astounding Do as I say behaviour. solve me a riddle if you will The Government have said one of their reasons for voting against the meal vouchers is they have boosted universal credit surely better to give these feckless adults vouchers that have to be spent on food than a boost in universal credit that they can spend on anything else Vouchers governments have been there in the past, milk tokens remember them ,taken in most shops ,even tobacconists , bus companies taxi companies, the real issue is people will always find a way around tokens used for payment.

Ah, but then you’d have the Left ranting about the vile, evil Tories daring to tell people how to spend their benefits. I well remember that smug Labour woman, can’t remember her name, praising immigrants as heroes for sending their benefit money back to their relatives in the 3rd world. So that was money given to be spent here, sent abroad for the benefit of corrupt banana republic regimes. Labour are unbelievably stupid. Can't remember a name, so let's make it up. harman temporary leader of the country for a while, said that about 2010(ish) , years later said the opposite, vile woman who should have along with hewit and i think a miliband should have been hung, drawn and quartered in public due to thier links to pie, but hey she doesnt even mentionit on her web page ,i wonder why .

Yeah it’s a very fair point, I’m not sure anyone could argue it. On another Covid note, quite a few countries starting to enter lockdowns. Wales Ireland and Slovakia what I’ve seen so far. Slovakia are interestingly doing a mass testing of the whole country during that week, anyone positive goes into isolation - in a bid to not shut down the economy but contain the virus. I have to say, it’s not a bad idea China have been doing a similar thing? mass testing and localised lockdowns... Amazing early results and allowed most places to remain open. But still unknown what will happen over the next few months. Firefighting until a vaccine is available I guess. And yet those good old chinese are well known for telling the truth

Government reckons 90,000 cases a day. That’s absolutely bonkers. And this is with restrictions in place. OB - any update on mortality of Covid? Is it still predicted to be around 1%? More tellingly I hear that the mortality rate is higher amongst lower income groups. If true, that will bite some Tories in the ass. It's been mentioned throughout this thread from near the beginning so not really news is it, My thought are the same now as they were when it was announced that there were more cases in the poorer parts of Italy. One of the reasons it's spreads quicker among the poorer people is simply that a lot will be living hand to mouth so need to get to the shops a lot more than someone who can buy food as a monthly purchase, and quite a lot of poorer people dont like going to the docs, so will try n sweat out any illness.

Not my scale, Gassy and/or Stuart's I think you'll find. Well, there's a turn up! No surprise you don't like Thatcher, the greatest PM since Churchill, many of course you're going to dislike Boris. But you describe Blair as a War Criminal and Corbyn as a deluded fool. One assumes you feel the same about Foot, KINNOCK, Miliband, Brown and Starmer. Wow! Careful there Oldgas whilst I 100% agree that Thatcher was the greatest PM since Churchill your going to get the lefties throwing back at you "what about the mine closures" Simple answer is labour closed more mines than thatcher, scargill is still a lady garden
